Haverghast
This works by bypassing your opponents spells and traps, and using counters to build effects. these are the first two.
If your opponent Declares an attack on your defense position monster, you may switch it to attack position. If your opponent Declares a direct attack, you may Special Summon 1 "Riku - Blind Swordsman" from you hand, deck, or graveyard in face up attack position.

As long as this card is face up on the field, all cards are flipped face-down during each players End Phase. If this card is Special Summoned, place 1 Blackout counter on any monster. Monsters with Blackout counters are flipped face down. They may not be flipped face-up or selected as an attack target. They may still activate their effects.

ragnarok1945
it's a shame for Blind Swordsman, I had hoped that flip effects of the flipped cards wouldn't be activated.......
Therrion
Riku is a nice card. Since his effect only activates upon Special Summon, he is a very smooth, balanced card. 9.6/10 Retaliate is bland, but gets it done. 8.2/
