Enma Ai
Hey guys, its been a while since ive been on the site so I thought I would post an old card set I had saved. I'm Currently in the process of Holo'ing them so they will be updated as I get them done. Tell me what you think. Suggestions are appreciated.
This card can not be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "The Zodiac". Once per turn you can select 1 Monster on the field (excluding this card), that card can not be destroyed as a result of battle this turn (damage calculation is applied normally). When this card is destroyed as a result of battle you can select 1 "The Zodiac" card in your Graveyard (excluding this card) and place it in your Deck. The Deck is then shuffled.

This card can not be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "The Zodiac". Once per turn during your Standby Phase this card loses 100 ATK. This card can attack your opponents Life Points directly. When this cards ATK is 0 then you can place this card into your Deck. The Deck is then shuffled.

This card can not be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "The Zodiac". Once per turn you can pay 1000 Life Points to Tribute 1 face-up Monster Card on the field. This card gains ATK equal to half of the total ATK of all Monsters Tributed this turn until your End Phase.

This card can not be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "The Zodiac". This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase. Once per turn you can pay 200 Life Points to increase this cards ATK by 100. As long as this card is in face-up Defense Position you can not lose or gain Life Points.

This card can not be Normal Summoned or Set. Once per turn you can Special summon 1 "The Zodiac" monster from your hand. If the monster that was Special Summoned requires Tributes then you can Tribute 2 monsters in your hand instead of on the field. Time Psyduck
Dog looks OK. It's ATK is low, but since it's a special summon it doesn't need a tribute, so it's OK. The protection effect is unlikely to see use, but could be handy, as could the recycling. Mouse seems OK, but 1000 is low enough on a level 4 to attack without drawbacks. Maybe if it returned when attacked or something it would be more practical? Pig is hilarious. Tribute their boss monster to gain it's ATK is going to get annoying, although maybe let it keep the boost until your next standby phase - it's rare it will get more than about 1500 ATK and it gives it a bit more survivability. Ram is nice, but I'd make it gain the same amount of ATK as life point you paid, and perhaps up it's ATK by 2-300, since it is a level 6 monster. The defence effect can be nice to protect against burn and the like, but you'll not want it often, since it's liable to get the monster destroyed next turn. Snake looks to be an annoying defence - seeing your opponent's hand is always useful, and being un-attackable is good. However, you need to specify whether your opponent's monsters can't attack it, or your opponent can't (the difference is, if it's the monsters they can attack you directly if you don't have another monster). Monkey is going to kill combined with Snake. Other than that it's kind of risky, but the penalty is low enough for it to be worth it just to see the card. It's stats aren't overly impressive either, but it's OK. Dragon will struggle. It can have a maximum of 2000 ATK, from the field and 4 other monsters, but you're not likely to have more than 1-2 other monsters out. Maybe give it some ATK, and then just have it boosted from other monsters. The effect-gaining works well with Ram, Pig or Mouse, although it's a bit slow. The field spell is problematic. Paying to activate it is never a good start, and the fact that it's little more than another card needed to summon the monsters isn't very helpful. Getting rid of the monsters when destroyed doesn't help either, although at least you can clear it other ways and avoid losing the monsters. The tribute part is confusing. Special Summons don't need a tribute based on level. If you want these monsters to, then that's fine, but you need to explain what tributes you need, and from where, for what levels of monster. I'd suggest just making it 1 monster for levels 6+, because losing a lot of cards is not a good thing. Overall they're interesting, and most of them are OK, it's just the field spell that needs working on.
ragnarok1945
neat pics for Mouse though, if it's going to lose atk, you might want to make the base atk a bit higher Pig is meh for just atk gain, kind of hoped for another effect for Ram, 200 LP for 100 atk gain is too little I'd have said 500 LP for 500 atk gain, but only for 1 turn Snake reminds me of Mind on Air's effect, plus for the 300 atk loss, you shouldn't have allowed it to include itself For Dragon, just 400 atk gain is too weak, especially since it doesn't count itself. You should have said like 600 atk gain or something
Enma Ai
Thanks for the comments guys, I will get around to changing them a bit. Also for Dragon, It gains 400 ATK for every Zodiac Card on the field so it would also gain ATK for the field spell and support cards (which I am adding soon). So its maximum possible attack is 4000.. i think... Thanks again for the comments guys
