Restricted Card List

Do you think the restricted/limited cards list should be enforced in tournaments, or lifted and why?

 

I personally hate the d*** thing. I feel it takes away from duelists. There are all these thousands of different kinds of cards for a reason, for us to use them! I understand limiting the use of some cards (no one wants to come across a deck with 3 pot of greed and 3 heavy storm) but what fun is it when you have all these awesome cards out there that you can't see used against you, or by you in a tournament?!

 

Take for example, The Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End. You have to remove 1 dark and 1 light attribute monster from play to bring him out, a regular power house, yes? He's restricted! Why? Because apparently its too easy to use (and too common a card) to have in a tournament. I say, let them use the card! I've come across it hundreds of times in duels with friends and you know what? He's not that hard to beat.

 

Your opponent's strategy will probably be to bring out some weak light or dark attribute monster for you to destroy so he can remove them from play. If you don't see that strategy and he can bring it out, that's your own fault! Why penalize everyone else for it?

 

The Restricted section of the card list is a nuisance and should be removed completely. Its stopping perfectly good strategies from being used, and ultimately making the game less fun. Everyone I've talked to that I know hates the enhanced format (because of the restricted card list).

 

Those are just my two cents though, what are yours?

without the ban list too many otk and ftk available take all the competiveness out of tournements, more cards need to be added to it

If they did, everyone would quit, only n00bs would play, because it would just be a matter of luck, the one who starts is the one who wins. Also, everyone would be running a Chaos Deck.

NO!!! The banlist is there to stop incredible cheap strageties. Not perfect, not good, just plain cheap. And everybody would run those Forbidden cards and makes the game less fun.

That you absolutly have no idea how cheap cards can change the duel too drasticly.
