2 Level 5 monsters
Once per turn, if you activate the effect of a face-up Xyz Monster you control that would detach Xyz Material(s): You can detach an Xyz Material(s) from this card, instead.

Even then, run Tiras, Adreus, or Volcasaurus. This does nothing useful on its own, but requires you to use another Xyz. I rather drop 2 Tiras, or a Tiras and a Volcasaurus, or 2 Volcasaurus if I'm spamming Rank 5.

Quick scenario:

I play this and Volcasaurus. I activate Volcasaurus' effect, and use Freezerdon to use one of its own Materials and kill an opponent's monster and inflict damage. Volca can't use its effect more than once a turn, so keeping 2 attached Materials isnt that useful.

I play 2 Volcasaurus. I activate one of their effects to kill a monster and inflict damage. My remaining Volcasaurus can still use its effect this turn if I wanted to.

There is no reason to play this. At all.

That's where you're wrong. It can used with Number 17: Leviathan Dragon or Number 96: Black Mist in order to get their ATK much higher than they can do alone, especially the latter.

It doesn't matter, it's unnecessary.

Shadap, Black Mist is the shiz with Pain Painter.

It's cool, but unnecessary.

Now how the f*** are you going to get 3 Level 2 DARKs and 2 Level 5s in the same Deck is beyond me.

My Wind-ups could bring this out, but i don't run it. Especially when i can just pull Tiras or No. 61 out my hat XD. Also Extra Deck space is tight with better options

And only other thing i can think of for this is: Utopia can use his attack negation effect 3 times(in one turn) :/ other than that i got nothing

This is going to be one of those cards that we hate now but will be in some extremely abusable combo in the future

Upon closer examination of that card, it looks like its ATK is within its materials.
