groniack Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 in my opinion shogun and generator are a bit oped because they are Level 3 monsters with 1800 Atk and without a negative effect. The other cards seem fine. As ragnaroc mentioned before the eff of steelchain is too powerful combined with master. So i would suggest you to increase its level to 7 - 8 and increase its Atk to 2500 and decrease the level boost to 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Agro Posted August 29, 2011 Report Share Posted August 29, 2011 Make Angel's eff last until the end phase Lower Generator's ATK to 1500 and make it so that the monster he SSed is Level 4 or lower. (that makes putting steelchain out too easy) Lower shogun's attack gain ability from 500 to 400 and make his base ATK 200 (this would make him 1400 at start and 1800 if you SSed him; completely fair) {OR: keep ATK gain at 500 but lower base ATK to 100; therefore NSed=1600; SSed=2000} I agree with ragnarok about Steelchain. Personally, I would decrease it to 4. (that's more splashable anyway, right?) Counterblow needs some backlash. Negating destruction, increasing level (by 2 no less), and destroying a card is WAY to OPed. Put some limits, and put some costs. Otherwise: I love this archetype, I read through the first few cards and thought to myself: finally a YCM set that actually forces the user to think out his moves. Though I guess some might call it OPed since negating all continuous Spells/Traps. I still feel like Generator needs restrictions, but with 'chain's effect being watered down, I'm not as sure. I don't think that equip traps exist lol I think that this is the only mistake with your spell and trap cards otherwise they are good and balanced. 9,4 / for the spells and traps.
