Why do always MONSTERS get the good stuff?

Normal, Effect, Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz...... No other category of Spells and Traps. So here is my idea.

TPS Tribute Powered Spell

By removing from play the required Spells you can activate a special overpowered Spell Card. It has the Ritual Icon until I find something cooler.

Example:

Lore: 3 Equip Spell Cards (1 Face-up and 2 in the Graveyard) + 1 Field Spell

Equip this card to a face-up Xyz Monster. That Monster has an unlimited number of Xyz Materials. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect. This card cannot be removed from the field and its effects cannot be negated. When the Xyz Monster that this card is equiped to you can pay 1000 Life Points and treat this card as any Monster in your Extra Deck.

In this case, you must remove from play 3 Equip Spell Cards(1 from the field and 2 from your grave) and 1 Field Spell. In reward you gain the effect.

By removing from play the required Traps you can activate a special overpowered Trap Card.
It has the Ritual Icon until I find something cooler.

Lore: 2 Continuous Traps

This card cannot be Set. Once per turn select one Synchro Monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon its Synchro Materials in face-up Attack Position. This effect can only be activated twice per Duel. This card remains face-up on the field and is treated as a Continuous Trap Card.

In this case, you must remove from play 2 Continuous Traps(from the field) to activate the above effect.


What do you think? Would something like that mess up or better the gameplay? ALL IMAGES BY HP DOOM(R.I.P.)

Holy f*** the first card is broken to hell. It's really not difficult to get the amount of cards in the Graveyard for it, and in return you get an infinite ATK Leviathan Dragon. YEAH NO.

Since the second can't be set, you can't activate it. You really didn't think this through, huh?

Anyway, it's an interesting idea, though giving a monster an infinite amount of XYZ material is a bad idea. There is a reason that most XYZ have limits.

The other one is like a De-Synchro/Miracle Fusion hybrid. It's interesting. (though i still think that being special doesn't erase the fact that it's a Trap and you hadn't said that you don't need to set it in the OP)

This has got to be the weirdest pair of cards I have ever seen.

Star Chain: Any time I hear "unlimited" in an effect, something is wrong. And turning this into any monster in my Extra Deck allows me to just summon "Five-Headed Dragon" out of nowhere. Since its effect can't be negated, there's nothing my opponent can do about it. That is just plain wrong; even General Juhziz knows that. I'm going to try to fix it--I'll probably get it wrong, but it'll give me something to do.

[i]You must banish 1 Field Spell and 2 Equip Spell cards from you Graveyard to activate this card's effect. Equip this card to a face-up Xyz Monster. You've never even stated that it can be activated from the hand, so therefore it [color=#ff0000][size=6][u][b]CAN'T BE ACTIVATED[/b][/u][/size][/color]

I didn't even address the "unlimited materials" problem with Star Chain. Granted, I'm still not sure how the Xyz idea works (and frankly, I don't want to know), so I may not be the best for that.

Your trap, on the other hand, isn't nearly as bad.

So, all in all, your Spell broke the space-time continuum, your Trap is OK (although its OCG was spotty), and you admittedly have some very pretty pictures. The concept itself is pretty good, but I'm not really sure how many people use Equip and Field Spells on the scale that Star Chain requires. I'll give it a 6.5 now; fix that damn Spell and I'll bump it up to an 8.5.

Hey I'd like that star chain. Shock Ruler would be absolutely broken with this card. I can imagine shock ruler being banned and me dancing on the card from joy :D.

Star chain is broken. Just broken. Instead of an unlimited amount of materials, why dont you make it so that when the xyz runs out of materials Star Chain is destroyed and the xyz gains 2 more materials. That'd make it so much more balanced. Also am I the only one who's noticed that Star Chain's picture is the Star Sword from Digimon Xros Wars? :D
