Make a Support Card for one of the following Mechanics: Tokens, Elemental Hero Fusion, Battle Burn.

I naturally chose Tokens, simply due to my love for them. I might have otherwise chosen Elemental HEROs but I wasn't sure on it.

> How was I going to go about the challenge then?

Well, first I thought of the first thing that came to my mind regarding tokens, and that was probably the infamous Dandylion. I mean, it's obviously Limited for a reason. A quick Foolish Burial will provide you with quick Token fodder ready to be used for Formula Synchron or something similar. Of course, I wasn't going to make something as broken and as quick as that but it did lead me to the major theme that inspired me. Black Garden. Literally one of my favourite decks, it's also one of the more interesting cards in the game.

Tokens and Plants going hand in hand.

Black Garden's main effect is basically: "Each time someone Summons a monster, halve the monster's ATK and Special Summon 1 'Rose Token' (Plant-Type/DARK/Level 2/ATK 800/DEF 800) to the Summoned monster's controller's opponent's side of the field, in Attack Position."

This does lead to some pretty fun locking down of the opponent's field and some nice stalling in terms of damage, unless your opponent's running Monarchs :/

For now, that's enough inspiration from Black Garden.

> Where next?

Well, we come to the likes of Grinder Golem, Nightmare Archfiends and Ojama Trio. Take a quick look on the first twos' Yu-Gi-Oh Wikia pages, and you see that they suggest Owner's Seal and Remove Brainwashing as potential uses for it.

They basically say "All monsters return to their original owners." That does mean that Nightmare Archfiends do belong to you, as does Grinder Golem as you are the owner of the card that Special Summons the tokens.

You end up with what is, in Nightmare Archfiends' case, 3 massive tokens on your side of the field, which gets calculated as what is basically a drastic +1.

> What the hell are you going towards?

Stay with me. It leads me to StampedeGarden.dek. I would provide a sample decklist but I can't be bothered. It revolves around the tokens that Black Garden produces and then stealing them all back with Owner's Seal or Remove Brainwashing. Then, you think, what good is a bunch of small tokens?

Well:

Yaaay. Considering the fact that it also stacks up, you have a potential field full of 3800 ATK tokens. But that's just hard to do and is just begging for someone to play Heavy Storm. Which is a problem that StampedeGarden.dek has suffered for a long time. So, my response to the Token theme I was given was to bring StampedeGarden.dek up a bit.

> So how?

StampedeGarden.dek is a combo deck. It relies on various different cards together at the same time. You fix that by making a card that solves consistency problems by doing several of the card's jobs together. Which led me to this card here:

On first glance, you see the token generating effect. When itself or another "Borealis Token" gets destroyed, it will replace itself from the Deck and make another Token.

> Why does it look like a Reborn Tengu and Dandylion lovechild?

It doesn't. That's the point. Tengu was simply an improved version of some of the oldest cards in the game. The Attribute searchers, Nimble Momonga, Giant Germ etc. And, to be honest, it doesn't suffer the same OP'dness as Dandylion. Since it only works when it's destroyed, it isn't as fast. Despite its lack of speed, it makes up with consistency. Having two or three Borealis Floras on the field will effectively double or triple the tokens made via Borealis Flora. Pretty easy considering the searching in Plants (Lonefire Blossom and the card itself), as well as the various amounts of recycling from the Graveyard that Plants can make use of. Don't forget Fragrance Storm either, which triggers the generating effect instantly.

All in all, it just halves the amount of time you need to set up the long-winded and unpredictable process of StampedeGarden.dek.

> The first effect?

The first effect is a near copy of Owner's Seal and Remove Brainwashing. Made simply so you can use the empty slots from Owner's Seal or Remove Brainwashing on drawing or consistency cards, like Magic Planter, Fragrance Storm or other random things.

A note is that I did not write "Destroy", instead I wrote "Tribute". Mainly because I don't want to abuse it. Otherwise, it becomes a strange Lonefire Blossom lookalike.
