Marisa Kirisame-ze
I like suit and ties. It's a rather elegant and dapper look. People dress fancy for a funeral to honor that person who died. I think I'd be offended if someone decided to wear a hoodie and some ripped jeans at my funeral, and then I'd haunt the s*** out of them too. As for not knowing the person, that can definitely suck because funerals are already dreadful as it is, so why waste the time for someone you hardly know? But it's still good to be there on the behalf of others who were certainly hurt by that person's death. But when I die, I'd definitely find kids playing with a Ouija board and talk to them. It seems like a nice pass time.
CrystalCyae
Been to one funeral. My great-grandma. Tbh, I knew her quite well. However, I WAS only 8. And I was very judgemental. No, don't ask. I didn't like her too much, but I wore a black t-shirt and jeans. Just to be respectful. But I was day dreaming the entire funeral. Someone tell me that's disrespectful. Now. Also, recently, my OTHER great grandma (the last of my great grandparents) died. Because I've never met her at all, and have only seen her name written on brithday and christmas cards she sent, I didn't have to go to the funeral. Good. Because I wouldn't know anyone there. [s]The strange thing is, me an my friends, at school, were talking about dead people and funerals the very morning my great grandma passed away. I'm scared.[/s]
Tentacruel
Ties serve no purpose. They look stupid, they're disgustingly dirty, and they're uncomfortable. Stupidest excuse for a piece of clothing ever invented.
All opinion. I find them quite comfortable, they're only dirty if you don't wash them, and obviously whether they look stupid or not is completely subjective. The only point you made is that they serve no real purpose, because they don't.
