I guess it slows down when I reach a certain word count. Anyways, this is a card set I made to represent the Synchro and Tuner monsters. The theme to this set is based around the Arcanas represented in Tarot Cards. Yes, I'm aware that the Synchro monsters should have a White Border instead of a Purple one but YCM does not have a White Border for me to use so until then the Purple Borders will have to do. The set is still incomplete but I wanted to see how good these were. For my own critiques, I'm not pleased with how Arcana Apprentice and Arcana Envoy turned out but the images used are place holders until I can find something better. I didn't post the source websites because I'm still in the process of finding them all. :p As for how long I've been working on these. I've been working on these for about a week since I'm constantly correcting OCG, grammar, text issues, and finding new ways to balancing the effects. Plus, I have to read through all 21 Arcanas and try to get the effects right. I particularly like the effect for "Platinum Hanged Man." Since the Hanged Man can represent a traitor I made his effect a double edged sword. The flipping of the Deck represents his upside down position and the discarding part of his effect is the traitorous part. You can potentially get a 6000+ ATK point monster capable of doing a 1 turn kill but if you are working with a 40 card deck and get this monster out late in the game you'll lose the duel in 3-4 turns because you'll end up discarding your entire deck. It's probably best for them to wait and see how the borders actually look like before creating their own. Anyways, feel free to point out any glaring issues with the effects like if they are broken or too weak. Anything that I can do to improve the balancing or if you think a card should have a different effect throw your ideas up. I want to toss out an idea and see what you guys think. Do you guys think I should add an effect to the synchro monsters stating that while they are on the field their tuner monster cannot be selected as an attack target? The only reason these Synchro monsters do not have White Frame Borders is because the YCM tool does not provide one. So until then the Purple Borders will have to do. Perhaps, you should try reading the entire thread before posting uninformed comments. I appreciate the nice comments but I would like some feedback to help improve the balancing or new ideas for effects. I think the biggest issue with this set is that you can't expect to use every tuner monster so there's a big emphasis on choosing the ones you can form a strategy around and then fill the rest of your deck with level 1-4 monsters (spells&traps as well) to fill the non-tuner quotient. Problem is that these monsters are weak and hard to keep alive to Special Summon the Synchro monsters.
