Acting on emotion

We've all done it, and we've either rejoiced or regretted it.

Acting on emotion locks your mind from thinking about what it's actually doing, and can prevent you from thinking straight, and instead saying, or doing the wrong thing/s.

Just tonight I decided I'd harshly insult my closest friend, and now she hates me. But I won't dwell on it.

Discuss times where you've acted on emotion and whether you're proud of it or if you regretted it.

Yeah, I'm feeling really emo right now, so what?

AH! I love emotional act, its the raw essence of human being. In a world of technology, science, and collective structure people default to what should or is logically done. I HATE IT! Humanity is humanity because it is human (Math proof that s***), no matter how awful it might be like killing someone out of vengeance or love or whatever to amazing like risking your life or even something minor. Its that emotional action that makes me smile, that people are still people.

Once almost kicked a guy in the nuts out of anger. Was able to redirect it at a nearby pole. My toe did not fair well.

Why? Kicking nuts is fun.

Except if you get hit in the nuts yourself. Somehow, I seem to have f***ing balls of iron.

I've done it several times not on purpose, but I've always regretted it whether in love or Amger.....

First:

Hanging with bud cuased reversed flow of thoughts making me become a staker as he kept dumping me off at a girl I like and I get all stirred up back to my old shy self.....

Second, Third, Fourth:

Different times, but all ended the same.....My Cousin peod me off so bad that I picked him up with one hand and told him off and then didn't remember it until after he told me......

Trust me, its not a good thing IMO unless something good happens, that its just mere good luck....

Theres a saying, works with friends and love, *If you love, let go, if the come back, you know you made the right decision"

It works with everything.....

Acting on emotion is not a problem. The reason it seems that way is because when emotions run high, people have a tendency to do things that are socially unacceptable. It would seem that people here are under the impression that as long as they keep their cool, they're not acting on emotion. But, technically you still can be.

Sad =/= emo.

This is actually what emo is:

OT: Every day. Every damn day. Oh well. I'm happy regardless, so I guess it's not a huge day. But in the past year I could say I've lost 15 or so friends from acting on emotion. Well, whatever. I still have YC*shot*
