Makο
But then wait a minute. If both are in DEF, what good would attacking do? It's not destroyed, and you don't take BD. But then again, to prevent damage, you would really have no choice but to put them in DEF. So it's a bit pointless. The only viable strategy I see would be a Forest Elf Burn deck, with it's counter being a Piercing deck. Also, cards like Lyleen and Renna are pretty overpowered. Lyleen will have your opponent drawing nothing for as long as she is on the field and Renna will just yoink monsters out of your opponents hands. If you take off the "One per turn" part to some of these effects, they would be a little less overpowered.
gReFuSiTo
Well, some points must be strong on Elves don't they? Otherwise they would be terribly weak e.e And yes, I thought hard on Lyleen effect and I saw it so overpowered, that's totally true
Makο
You could bump up the attack of some monsters, along with removing the "one per turn". And you should also try to find a way screw with the field AND the hand. Something like "When this card is Normal Summoned, discard 1 random card from your opponents hand. Flip Summon 1 face down monster on the field, negating it's effect." Two birds with one stone.
gReFuSiTo
Yes I was going to do that with the next card I create, with both effects, field and hand. That's my idea, a little overpowered now I'm thinkin on it but here it is: "This card cannot be destroyed by battle blablabla.... Once per turn, you can return 1 monster card your opponent controls to its owner's hand to make draw your opponent 1 card." sorry for my english, but I hope you understand it. I'm thinking on another effect for Lyleen, as soon as I can I will fix her

gReFuSiTo
oh thank you so much ^^ And yes I usually play on duelingnetwork and I really like playing yugioh in real life, though I haven't new and good cards, just the basic ones (Yugi Muto & Kaiba initial decks) but I'm starting to save some money to buy a Worm (reptiles) deck =)Minixia and Lyleen effects are now fixed. What about them now? =)
Developous
Advice: Forest elves make good naturalists and rangers. How about make some elves that beef up beasts and/or plants, ok? Possibly some union beasts that would fuse with the elves as well?
gReFuSiTo
Mmmm, that's a really good advice. Thank you, let me think on it and I'll try to create something like that. As always, as soon as I can ^^

Haverghast
There are other cards with similar effects (Spirit Reaper) if i make cards like this, they usually have a bounus for being in ATK mode i think that its pretty balanced
ragnarok1945
with Elf Village it should be fine, gives you an easy change for resummoning and all that personally though for the last part where you said another special summoning, you should have said "except for the Elf monster you just returned to your hand", if it qualfies
gReFuSiTo
But with Elf Village you special summon a monster from your deck not from your hand, so the monster you just returned cannot be summoned by the effect of Elf Village New adds* -Sentinel of the elves: -Spirit sorcery
ragnarok1945
Spirit Sorcery is fine, nothing wrong with it for Sentinel, the atk gain is fine, multiple attacks is also fine, just be careful when it comes to OTK though I'll give them 9.6/
gReFuSiTo
Then should I modificate the effect of Sentinel?? It's a little focused on OTK strategies with elves, but I don't know if it's OP or not
ragnarok1945
well for sentinel you can say if the 2nd attack is a direct attack it can only do half the damage
