I made them a while ago, but now I am revisiting them, adding some new ones, removing some under-powered, over-powered, or non-archetype-supporting cards, and changing around some of the effects. [Spoiler=Main Monsters] [img]http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/3038/358064.jpg[/img] Effect: When a "Sacred Soul" monster is destroyed by battle and shuffled into your Deck, you can Special Summon this card from your Hand. When this card is removed from the Field, shuffle this card into its owner's Deck. If this card is destroyed, you can return another fairy-type monster to your Deck instead. Rarity: Common Changes: lowered ATK, added Special Summoning effect. Comment: A simple way of getting out a big attacker. [img]http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/6890/358064h.jpg[/img] Effect: When this card is removed from the Field, shuffle this card into its owner's Deck. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you can select one Sacred Soul card other than "Envoy of the Sacred Soul" and add it to your Hand. Rarity: Ultra Rare Changes: I left this the same, it seems good as it was and no need to change the heart of the deck. Comment: This is the most important monster in the Deck. It is a searcher which can search monsters, spells & traps and can be played in 3. In a deck with no deck-thinning, searchers are mandatory. [img]http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/3038/358064.jpg[/img] Effect: When this card is removed from the Field, shuffle this card into its owner's Deck. When a "Sacred Soul" card is shuffled into your Deck, select and destroy one face-down Spell or Trap card. Rarity: Common Changes: Effect made mandatory. Comment: Clears the back-row like nothing else. [img]http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/3038/358064.jpg[/img] When this card is sent to the graveyard for a Synchro Summon, both you and your opponent shuffle your Graveyard into your respective Decks. Not a Sacred Soul monster, but obviously has a similar mechanic. Rarity: Common Changes: Nothing. Comment: This deck needs a searcher, and this is one, if not a very good one. [/Spoiler] So this archetype could use a few more monsters, but the key is in the spells/traps. Any card that would be sent to the Graveyard is shuffled into its owner's deck instead. While there is 30 or more cards in your deck, "Sacred Soul" cards cannot be destroyed by card effects. Rarity: Ultra Rare Changes: Major effect changes, the Macro Cosmos back to deck effect now works all the time, and the effect of 40+ cards in deck has been dropped. Comment: The reason this deck does not automatically loose to most speed-swarm decks, esp. darkworld. [img]http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/3038/358064.jpg[/img] Effect: Increase your Life Points by 1000. Then place this card on top of your opponent's Deck. Rarity: Secret Rare Changes: Slight wording change, effect remains altogether the same. Comment: The best mind-game card I have ever created. Great if you have field advantage or hand advantage, and also cool if you have way less life but card advantage is equal and low (uber good topdeck if ur opponent is also topdecking and you have less life!) Reason why this card is Secret Rare is because I believe that secret rares should have interesting weird effects. So, not a direct support for Sacred Soul but still a super fun card, and makes Envoy the best topdeck evah. [img]http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/9253/358064j.jpg[/img] Unite one "Sacred Soul" monster you control to your deck, then Special Summon one "Sacred Soul" monster from your deck. Rarity: Common Changes: New [/Spoiler] Boss: [img]http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/3038/358064.jpg[/img] Effect: 1 fairy-type tuner + one or more non-tuner fairy-type monsters. When this card is removed from the Field, return this card into its owner's Synchro Deck. When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, select two cards on the field and shuffle them into their owner's Deck. Rarity: Ultra Rare Changes: Nothing Comment: The Sacred Soul "boss" synchro. thekazu4u Posted October 21, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2011 Taking up a draw is the entire point. Example: you are topdecking, and get Envoy. You summon, search healing of the sacred soul, and activate. Now your opponent looses a draw and 1700 LP, you gain 1000 LP, and in order for you not to just do the same thing over again, he has to not play healing and skip his turn. Basically it is a Time Seal in Spell card form, where your opponent can activate it on you if he likes. Oh yea, and it is searchable. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
