I do not have these cards so I can't test it, would it work? Savage Colosseum is used to force all monsters to attack, if not (thanks to my wall of revealing light) they are destroyed. Also, with my wall of revealing light they cant attack and they die because of that. because I am also forced I added strong atk monsters, yubel is there to get to the 3rd level of him, then they will keep losing life points from my other monsters. it can be countered but my spells cant because of splendid venus. the cards may not have a THEME, but they do COOPERATE and WORK together Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
evilfusion Posted October 24, 2011 Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 You're using a 50 card deck, which right off the bat means the deck is probably bad. Try to stick around 40. Your deck is unpleasantly difficult to read due to the superfluous symbols all over. You're running Soul Reversal, but the only Flip Effect is Slate Warrior. In any case, Soul Reversal is a slow card and can dead draw specifically because the only Flip is Slate Warrior. Not even sure what your deck is trying to do. Splendid Venus and Yubel have almost nothing to do with one another, and there's easier and better ways to run/spam both of them. The rest of your monster lineup is random. While Kaiser Seahorse supports Splendid Venus, that's the only thing it does, and there are better ways to bring out Venus. Valkyria makes no sense in this deck at all unless you're trying to go for the lockdown, which isn't even that GOOD of a lockdown. Final Countdown @1 makes no sense if this is trying to use that as the win condition. Fake Trap is terrible. It may be protection from Heavy Storm, but it's not good protection. Your Spell lineup is missing a lot of cards that could help the deck's consistency. Your Trap lineup is smashed together tightly. I took some of your advice and removed the soul reversals and Magicians, so now I have 45. what can I improve on from here? It increases the life points of us both but I have counters and strong atk monsters and yubel. Then I have splendid venus to make my spells and traps almost invincible, so royal decree only harms my opponent. only weaknesses I see for spells and traps is a heavy storm or mst, this is where fake trap is necessary. evilfusion Posted October 24, 2011 Report Share Posted October 24, 2011 The problem with your strategy is that your justifications for your cards only apply if your strategy is working, but you dont have a way to make the strategy work fast, before your opponent makes his strategy work and stops you from doing the same. Sure, Yubel can stall, but it can't stay out long enough to make Countdown work. Yubel is bad when it has that many cards. Slim it out and make room for staples.
