jabber2033
I'm no expert on Yubel decks, but take out the stuff in bold. Add more staples like MST, Solemns, Allure of Darkness, Bottomless Trap Hole, Dark Armed Dragon and so on. Ieyasu Tokugawa
Better than that old build. Battle Fader >> Scarecrow here for tribute fodder, Spells and traps need work though. Keep the good stuff and add things like MST, Heavy Storm, Dark Hole, Torrential Tribute and other staples, then fill it with other stuff. Limit Reverse needs to be in here as well. Dark MesZera
Why is dark armed dragon better than The Dark Creator? if I have more than 3 he'll be useless. Anyway I've updated it, but now I need another monster... Maybe a second snipe hunter?
jabber2033
Why is dark armed dragon better than The Dark Creator?
DAD is far better due to its destruction effect. It can clear a field in one turn and is very easy to summon. You have a pair of Gold Sarcophagus to search it out with, so it's easy to get to your hand. And if you're worried about the number of monsters in your Graveyard, Pot of Avarice says "HI". Add another Bottomless Trap Hole, 1-2 more MST, and more Limit Reverse/Call of the Haunted.
Dark MesZera
ok but what do I remove then? since I need to stick to 40. tell me which cards to replace for which card. I'm new to a lot of cards, I've been traditional for years
jabber2033
Neg the following: Damage Gate Escape from the DD Trap Stun Fires of Doomsday Meklord Now add: +1 Call of the Haunted +1 Limit Reverse +1 Bottomless Trap Hole +2 Space Typhoon I'd also say neg Colosseum and Caius for DAD and Pot of Avarice, but I'm assuming you don't have DAD so... Dark MesZera
Which cards should I remove? Or would 45 work with these cards? meklord is easy to use and good though, isn't he? and I'll neg the other

Dark MesZera
ok updated again, any changes to this one?
jabber2033
-3 Scarecrow +3 Battle Fader -1 Meklord +1 Armageddon Knight -1 Phantom of Chaos +1 Reinforcement of the Army That's all I can thing of for now. Reinforcement can help grap Armageddon, which dumps Yubel, which is revived with Limit Reverse and CotH. Battle Fader is also better than Scarecrow. Dark MesZera
how is battle fader better? I have a friend with ancient gear golem, so I'd be screwed against it. otherwise I'll change them, thanks
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Battle Fader provides Tribute fodder. And AGG would probably wreak havok on an empty field too.
Dark MesZera
but wouldn't battle fader die after being summoned? I didn't know he ended the battle phase before the attack hit him...
Ieyasu Tokugawa
He ends the Battle Phase when summoned. Attack is negated. He lives to your next turn.
Dark MesZera
thanks, didn't know that, so it is better. updated again, is it good this time?
jabber2033
Looks very nice, actually. Especially compared to the first deck you posted. It's much cleaner and more focused. Now's the time to test it and see how it works. Do you know anything about Dueling Network or YVD? Or is this for in-real-life dueling? I suggest Dueling Network if it's not IRL. You can make any additional changes after testing it and seeing what gives you problems.
Dark MesZera
this is for real life, and these are the cards I have now: Yubel Snipe hunter dark hole monster reborn mst-3 heavy storm bottomless-2 call haunted-2 limit reverse solemn judgment torrential tribute the rest I have to buy. so I still need 2 yubels etc. So this isn't going to be a waste of money?ok I have my cart full of the cards I need now, costing me $96 something with these cases that are $15. So, is this going to work the way I think? and what would be some tips for using some of the combos?
jabber2033
Buy them if you want to use them. But I HIGHLY recommend testing it online first. I recommend http://www.duelingnetwork.com/ (it's free to sign up, but you need an email address). It's very easy to use and you have access to every card in the game.
Dark MesZera
thanks, I'll test it. So how well should it work to make it worth it?
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Yugioh is a waste of money period <.< And it depends. What do you find fun? Playing with a deck you enjoy and can make work, or winning 9 times out of 10. Yubel isn't the best deck out there, but it can still work.
Dark MesZera
I just like to duel my friends for fun, and am looking for a way into an advanced format. But my friend is getting a new deck, and I met another person who uses advanced and he annihilated both me and my friend. So, I want to be able to be a match for it. But, it's mostly for fun. Dark MesZera
Would the deck be better if I: - Yubel - Terror Incarnate +Ultimate Nightmare +Limit Reverse And since Yubel dies without tributes, I only really need 1 right? So could removing him and adding something else be even better? If so what should I add? Maybe a dark bribe? Because they can still kill Ultimate Nightmare easily.
