ragnarok1945
make sure for Canaries the token summoning effect is only once per turn, or you'd swarm the field with tokens and they'd be used for synchro food
Alice Moonflowyr
OR I could make them level 10 or something. would that work?
ragnarok1945
you mean make the tokens lv10? I don't see what difference that'll make
Alice Moonflowyr
It would be extremely unlikely that they would be used for synchs.
ragnarok1945
yeah but you didn't say the tokens can't attack AT ALL, just not directly
Alice Moonflowyr
Yes, they cant attack directly.......would it be better to say that neither player takes battle damage from them? Cus I want them to be able to attack...
ragnarok1945
yeah I guess that could work then
Alice Moonflowyr
Cool, I will fix. What do you think of Bahamut?
ragnarok1945
bahamut was on the OPed end it's not hard to summon, and you should have specified the dragon types, not just any dragon type
Alice Moonflowyr
huh? And though he's easy to summon, if you are at full LP when you have the neccessary compnents, you are at 3500 when your done, 1500 if you use Old Mans eff. (-1000 to SS Old Man, (-2000 to use his second eff if you do that) -3500 by then to use Bahamuts Rampage.)
ragnarok1945
yeah and the 3 dragon type monsters you can summon with this leads to OTK, I'd say it's worth the LP pay
Alice Moonflowyr
Hmmm.....maybe I could put a restriction on the level, like the Old Man, or maybe I could half their attack, or something like that.
ragnarok1945
yeah do that, then let's see what you come up with

ragnarok1945
I do mean to ask though, is this whole set here? I did hope for more Bahamut monsters given Rampage could work for any
Alice Moonflowyr
What? nononono. The idea is, I take legendary dragons from D&D, and make them cards. Bahamut was supposed to be, "Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon". Eventually, I plan on making Andreamos, Silvara, Niflung, and others. You need to play D&D 4th Edition to get it. (and read Draconomicon: Metallic Dragons)

ragnarok1945
interesting you should try Deviant Art or Imageshack, those tend to be better quality

Kocrow17
I would suggest simply getting rid of "Rampage of Bahamut". It may sound strange, but if you lower the old man's DEF to 2100 and alter the his effect to be: When this card is Summoned, change it to Defense Position and place a Canary Counters on it for each Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can select and activate one of the following effects: - Remove 1 Canary Counter from this card to Special Summon 1 "Gold Dragon Token" (Dragon-Type/LIGHT/Level 10/ATK 2500/DEF 2500) Neither player takes battle damage from battles involving those tokens. - Tribute 1 Level 5 or higher Dragon-Type monster you control (except "Bahamut") to Special Summon Level 7 or higher Dragon-Type monster from your hand or deck. Then alter Bahamut's effect to read: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Old Man with the Canaries". When this card is Special Summoned, you can Special Summon up to 3 Level 7 or lower Dragon-Type monsters from your Graveyard. You can only control 1 "Bahamut". You need dragons in your graveyard for bahamut's effect, so the old man may as well draw strength from them rather than starting with seven counters. Limiting his effect to once per turn will help prevent swarm. As for Bahamut, I'm not sure if that last sentence is worded correctly. Essentially, you can't keep summoning copes of it while one is already on the field. I also added an "except Bahamut" clause to the old man to prevent Bahamut from being tributed for another Bahamut and recycling old dragons that your opponent just worked so hard to get rid of. I hope this helps!
