it can vary, ranging from as little as 2000 all the way up to 4000ish, which the latter won't be too often

You should allow it to attack directly, but only under the condition its atk doesn't exceed the 2500 mark or something

mmm, I don't think so. I made it so it can bring down powerful monsters, not finishing games, and also having its ATK boost being mandatory and until the End Phase makes it nerf'd enough to be balanced I think.

Although if used with some Rank 10 Xyz could make it a bit of an overkill...

well how often you think it can get used with rank 10 xyz?

often enough, for example Summon Gustaph Max, detach his materials > SS 2x Bersercaster from your hand > you end up with a 3000 ATK Xyz and 2 Bersercasters at 4000 ATK each (presumably, since a lot of level 10 monsters are around the 3000 ATK mark).

It's OTK material, but then again, I think it's non-direct attack effect balances it out

Very good card. I think that you should keep the effect that it can't attack directly as it is to avoid otks. So if you have 2 of them in your hand, you can xyz summon a monster, special summon these 2, destroy 2 strong monsters your opponent controls and during your main phase 2 you can xyz again.
good job 9,6 / 10 :)
