Shizu looks fine, a little Ancient Gear effect in there which is good

Aoi's 1st effect is meh though. It's just a continuous and weaker form of Marauding captain's effect

Thoughts and OCG Fixes:

[b]Leigh:[/b]

So it's a 'Trident Warrior' for an archetype? And coupled with 'Marauding Captain'/'Goblindburgh', it means you could have two Exceeds/Synchros out in your first turn, or a combination of both. It's just too easy a Special Summon in the modern game.

Again, it's a very easy Special Summon. And given how much support EARTH and Warrior monsters have, this is not a nice card to look at in that sense.

I fear this will become incredibly abused given how easily these monsters Special Summon themselves and how quickly the Synchros Summon them back.

So, another version of 'Dewdark of the Ice Barrier'? At least this one has some downside to its effect. But it is a DARK Level 2 Warrior, so would probably be highly abused in a standard Warrior build to get 'Catastor' and 'Brionac' out.

[i]If this card destroys a monster by battle, and your opponent controls another monster: This card can attack once again.[/i]

A generic effect. Luckily it can't Special Summon itself. And the ATK is low enough for its Level.

[i]You can Tribute 1 "Lady Warrior" monster you control: Normal Summon this card (from your hand). When this card attacks: Your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards in response. When this card destroys a monster by battle: Select 1 face-down Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls; Return it to the Deck.[/i]

This will probably never be Normal Summoned, since it's a very easy thing to throw to the Graveyard and re-Summon. Since it has a lock-down effect (one of the more powerful effects), you should consider making it Normal Summon-only. (See 'Ancient Gears')

'Marauding Captain'-style lock says hi. Make so that it doesn't include itself in the lock.

So, Normal Summon 'Leigh', who Special Summons 'Yuna'. Synch this. Special Summon a second 'Yuna'. Activate 'Monster Reborn' to bring back 'Leigh'. Synch a second one. Special Summon a third 'Yuna'. Special Summon 'Lin' from your hand. Exceed a Rank 3. All in one turn, and with two cards left in your hand... You'll need to think this one over.

Since this is harder to Summon, given the reliance on the lower-Leveled monsters (although 'Sheyde' combined with a pair of 'Lins' would be a easy way to get to Level , it is slightly more balanced than 'Avele'. However, because it can Special Summon any 'Lady Warrior', there is nothing stopping it from bringing back a 'Shizu', or just refuelling a Synchro loop. Again, Special Summons like this are too easy in the modern game.


[b]Aoi:[/b]
[i]1 "Lady Warrior" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Lady Warrior" monsters[/i]
[i]Once per turn: You can select and activate 1 of the following effects:[/i]
[i]* Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Lady Warrior" monster (from your Deck): You can Normal Summon this turn.[/i]

This is slightly better since it retains the more annoying summoning conditions, but adds a cost for the endless Special Summons. It's still not great though, since if you bring out a 'Yuna', you can get one, two or even three 'Lins' from your hand to the field, and that might give you a Level 6 or 9 Synchro, or a Rank 3 Exceed, or indeed a Rank 9 Exceed(when Konami invent one).


Overall, you need to give the Special Summons a cost. The modern game is fuelled by Special Summons and since the banning of 'Royal Oppression', there is little to stop it. So to be balanced, cards that Special Summon must have a cost, a drawback, or a limiting factor to stop them being broken.
