NeoRWBY65
Main Idea My idea for Pokemon is that they get counters to show their level in a pokemon game. Then, when they have counters equal to the level they evolve in a Pokemon game, they can be tributed and the next form is special summoned, and it gets its predecessor's counters put on it. For Legendaries, I put them in 4 groups. Legendaries not in a duo or trio: Level 7 Synchro monster who gets counters from its Synchro Materials. Legendaries in a Duo: Level 8 Synchro Monster who gets counters from its Synchro Materials. Also gets special ability when the other member of the duo is present. Legendaries in a Trio: Level 9 Synchro Monster who gets counters from its Synchro Materials. Trio Masters: Level 10,11, or 12 Fusion Monsters who use the trio they are master of as Fusion Material. They also get the counters from their Material. Each time I post in this topic, I will reveal a new Pokemon. Starting now, with Bulbasaur Pokemon Bulbasaur LIGHT Level 2 Plant/Effect During each player's end phase, place 1 Pokemon Counter on this card(Max 100). When this card destroys a monster by battle, place a Pokemon Counter on this card. For every Pokemon Counter on this card, it gains 100 ATK and DEF. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can remove one Pokemon Counter from this card to negate the attack. ATK/DEF 500/500 Please tell me what you think of these cards (For some reason, the pictures will not show up. I don't know why)
NeoRWBY65
New card, Ivysaur Pokemon Ivysaur LIGHT Level 4 Plant/Effect Cannot be normal summoned or set. Can only be special summoned (from your hand) by tributing 1 face-up "Pokemon Bulbasaur" with 16 or more Pokemon Counters on it. When this card is special summoned, put Pokemon Counters on it equal to the number of Counters on the "Pokemon Bulbasaur" tributed to special summon this card (max 100). During each player's end phase and when this card destroys a monster by battle, place a Pokemon counter on this card. For every Pokemon Counter on this card, it gains 200 ATK and DEF. If this card would be destroyed by battle or by an effect, you can remove one Pokemon Counter from this card to negate the Attack or Effect. ATK/DEF 1000/1000
NeoRWBY65
Bump, and a third card, Venusaur Pokemon Venusaur LIGHT Level 6 Plant/Effect Cannot be normal summoned or set. Can only be special summoned (from your hand) by tributing 1 face-up "Pokemon Ivysaur" with 32 or more Pokemon Counters on it. When this card is special summoned, put Pokemon Counters on it equal to the number of Pokemon Counters on the "Pokemon Ivysaur" tributed to special summon this card (max 100). During each player's end phase and when this card destroys a monster by battle, place a pokemon counter on this card. For every Pokemon Counter on this card, it gains 300 ATK and DEF. If this card would be destroyed by battle or by an effect, you can remove on Pokemon Counter from this card to negate the Attack or Effect and destroy the card that would have destroyed this card. ATK/DEF 1500/1500
NeoTwice
These are really slow. 8 of your turns to summon a monster is a long time. Also, as soon as Ivysaur hits the field he has 4200 ATK and DEF, then 8 turns later you have a monster with 11100 ATK and DEF, which can't be destroyed in any way, 32 times. Very slow, and very overpowered.

Also, Bulbasaur can be easily wiped out in the early stages of the game, if he doesn't have time to generate enough counters

Because clearly they did not know that you can post Pop-Culture cards without pictures in Written Cards due to the fact that it does not say anything about the type of cards. Plus I've seen people post Pop-Culture cards in there in written form such as Tekken.

I actually did have a card for Bulbasaur, but when I put it up, it cut off everything after putting counters on the card at the end of every turn. I tried to put it back up, but it did the exact same thing again
These are really slow. 8 of your turns to summon a monster is a long time. Mr.WHAM
My critiques: - the levels should be 4, 6, 8 and they should be EARTH not LIGHT - All of them should gain 100, 150(maybe) and 200 respectively. - they should get counters each phase entered except draw. Or either main phases and end or standby, battle, and end. - Venesaur should have something like if card(s) you control would be destroyed(by either battle or effect) or banished, remove 2 counters to negate the effect. - Venesaur should say when it destroys a monster(s) on your opponent controls, add 2 counters to this card. - Ivysaur and bulbasaur should gain counters equal to the level of a monster they destroyed by battle.(this is only if you don't have them gaining counters every phase) - Ivysaur should either be able negate spells & traps the destroy or monsters effects that destroy. Bulbsaur should be spells/traps/or monsters. Also to add cards, click the card image and at the bottom a code should come up. Copy & paste it, and put it up for the corresponding cards. I also don't want to mess with the levels, as that would make it so that I can't use Venusaur or any of the other final evolutions as synchro material for the Legendaries. Mr.WHAM
makes sense i suppose. But then again, you could always make a card that reduces their levels to activate certain effect. Like reduce a monsters level to 1 until the next standby phase to gain lp equal to the level x400. then you get synch fodder. As for the effects, I just changed them to run more smoothly. That ATK boost on venesaur was completely oped though considering how you can have 100 counters. 300x100= 30,000 +1500. thats a ridicuoulous monster that can protect itself. So its never leaving the field. And if some magic cylinder's or draining shields you, thats a lot of life points.
One thing I made sure of is that all the members that are level 11 or below CAN be banished. Then, if they return to the field (like if they get hit with Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon) they have none of their counters, returning Venusaur to 1500 and making it vulnerable to any destruction effect. Mr.WHAM
thats debatable. Also as for the turn count, a Final count down would murder your deck. And what will the synchros do if the regular effec monsters do that.

At the end of the turn Bulbasaur is summoned, he has only 1 counter. If you get two cards with over 600 ATK each, you have stopped the Ivysaur and Venusaur from even showing up. Galaxy Eyes is just an example of a banisher that can get rid of them or their counters after Venusaur has appeared
