you may need to state what happens if the # of cards is odd

certainly ruins the element of surprise no matter which way you cut it, so that's very good

idea wise you get 8.9/10 for this

the number of cards being odd is impossible...your opponent picks up a number of cards they have in their hand.
So that automatically makes the combined number even.

Well, it doesn't really need support, I made it with having it in mind as a staple for any Ritual-based decks. It can be SS'ed by itself or by any Ritual Spell, with the latter giving you a great strategical advantage over your opponent.

Nice effect, but i wonder if the card's level might change due to the ritual spell used some ritual spells do state the total lv of the monster sacrifices required(example you could use the relinquished ritual and literally sacrifice only 1 card). So just do something to clear that. Otherwise a good and balanced effect.

Yes, that's one of the good things about it as well. The way I worded it, you can use relinquished's ritual and tribute only 1 level 1 or higher monster to Ritual Summon this card. The level matters only for when it's Special Summoned by its own effect.

But even then, I don't think it's overpowered since to activate its effect this becomes at least a -1 / most often a -2, and it's very easily destroyed.
And Rituals require a lot of cards so they're not very practical/fast in today's metagame. However, this works well in a Ritual-based deck and I'm sure it'd boost their
overall power.

Also, it could be easily SS'd by its own effect if you decide you want to make it a Big Eye fodder/or if you just need a beatstick. For example, Normal Summon Gagaga magician > use eff to make him level 7 > SS this > Xyz into Big Eye

It has a lot of uses imo
