galesonic
Well, the idea that brought this up is when I kept realizing every time I could Synchro Summon, I can't use it for the desired Level. So I made a solution, why not make a Synchro Monster that can be Synchro Summoned for every Level? Thats when this card came to be. I might add some support cards for this monster, but I don't know yet.
1 Tuner monster + 1 non-Tuner monster This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. When this card is Synchro Summoned, destroy all monsters you control, except this card. The Level of this card becomes the Level used to Synchro Summon it. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you cannot Summon or Set any monsters. This card gains the following effects based on its Level: • 2 or 3: Destroy this card and take 3000 damage. • 4: Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap on the field. • 5 or 6: This card inflicts piercing damage. 7 or 8: When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step, 9: Once per turn, you can banish 1 card your opponent controls. 10-12: You can pay 1000 Life Points to destroy all other cards on the field and inflict 300 for each Spell Card destroyed by this effect. You cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
I'm trying to word it so that it works because as it is, it still needs monsters whose levels equal to 1. Can't think of a good wording though, so I'll continue as if this worked. Now onto the effects: 2 or 3: WHY!? I always find ways to make level 3s without abusing it, why make is so I still can't do it? It's a pointless restriction. Make it treated as a tuner or something, it would still be less abusable than that draw 1 formula. 4: Okay, turns a card into MST. Works for me. 5 or 6: Basic, no real complaints until later. 7 or 8: Ancient Gear clause. Nice. With ease of level 8s it's still a pretty decent effect for it. 9: Guess it would be decent if Trish were to get banned, otherwise not so much since you can't use multiple non-tuners for it. I say beef it. 10 to 12: More balanced Judgment Dragon and it burns. I actually like this one. Alright now, being able to make a 3K beater on a whim is just wrong. Make it increase it's attack based on it's level or something, then give it ? attack. I know I'd hate if my opponent summoned Junk Synchorn and synched for 4 or 5 into a 3k MST per turn or Piercer respectively.
galesonic
The reason I made it get destroyed and take damage once it becomes a Level 2 or 3 monster is because that would easily get by Gravity Bind or Level Limit- Area B. Basically, I tried to make it like a Meklord concept with high ATK (along with Frozen Fitzgerald). I originally wanted to give it ? ATK with an increasing effect, but I couldn't balance it well.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Xyz get by Gravity Bind already. Trust me, those cards aren't used enough to warrant that kind of effect. Also, try this: This card's ATK is equal to its level x300. Works well enough. Lvl 2 is 600, lvl 3 is 900, lvl 7 is 2100 (which is under some of the better ones) etc.
galesonic
I knew I forgot about something. I keept forgetting that the XYZ are Ranks, not Levels
ragnarok1945
the 5 or 6 effect is meh for just trample the 7 or 8 is merely siphoned from the Ancient Gear monsters, nothing new 10-12 seems taken from Chaos Emperor Dragon Envoy of the end and yet that's stronger because at least Chaos Emperor Dragon destroys itself in the process, yours does not

For this you need a tuner and a non tuner whose combined levels exceed 10. I can't think of any consistent way without bad combos.
2Dual
1 Tuner monster + 1 non-Tuner monster Must be Synchro Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned any other way. When this card is Synchro Summoned: Destroy all monsters you control except this card. This card's Level is equal to the Levels of the monster used for its Synchro Summon. While this card is face-up on the field: You cannot Summon or Set any monsters. This card gains the following effects based on its Level: • 2 or 3: Destroy this card and take 3000 damage. • 4: Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Destroy 1 Spell or Trap on the field. • 5 or 6: This card inflicts Piercing Damage when battles. • 7 or 8: When this card attacks: Your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. • 9: Once per turn: You can banish 1 card your opponent controls. • 10-12: You can pay 1000 Life Points: Destroy all other cards on the field and inflict 300 for each Spell Card destroyed this way. You cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect. i think the main idea could work fine and it's actually pretty well thought, yet i guess it could help some balance. by now, everyone would just synch for 4 cause lv4 is just too cheap for a 3000 atk mst, other effects do not really compair, except 10-12, which is actually good, but only 1 non-tuner pretty much kills it. i suggest you remove some of the drawbacks, for example the 'no other summon or set', if anything just stop special summon only or normal/set summon only. also change the summoning conditions to the classic '1 tuner + 1 or more non-tuner' and lower its atk, i'd say make it at about 2000, so the lvl4 would be a bit more balanced if you consider also the other own-field wiping when summoned. overall, i like this.
