Enigmatic Garden of Halcyon (Long title)

So I got bored at work and found some pretty neat art.
I saw how they could all correspond and decided on making this set.
Also, I made all of these on yugico. Sorry. I dont mean to betray YCM but for some reason no pictures want to generate on this site anymore. I had to get my fix.

This set is all based around the Level 5 Monsters and getting out the Xyz Monsters.
The level 5's are a bit tricky too. You can either Special Summon them to get the monsters out faster, or actually sacrifice and gain some killer effects.

The kind of theme with this deck is that all the monsters will gladly give their lives to bring forth their Deity.
So here they are. The Enigmatic Garden creatures. :o

the spells have simple effects, though nothing wrong with them

write the lore out for the xyzs, they're a bit hard to read right now

for Garden Cotton, change sacrifice to tribute in the lore

for Critical Cotton, I'm a bit unsure of banishing 2 cards on the field, seems a bit high

for Pinnapple Crab, don't see why you left it vulnerable to spell cards in terms of destruction, it's only 1 turn anyways

We will see. It depends on how lazy I get.
This set takes some editing after all.

Besides that I might be making a sub arch to the set.
Enigmatic Cavern or something like that based on Water Monsters.

I've still got some schemes a scheming. lol.

All right, you just let us know when you do

Garden: Good support; free pluses; hard to set up. It's very powerful with the Onion/Squash/C-Cotton triangle, but it's basically a balanced card.

Summon: This card seems pointless. Even without the Level restriction, Mark of the Rose is more effective for set-up. Make it "hand or Deck" and maybe it's worth running.

Maple: Where are you returning the monsters? Why does this have 1900 ATK? I can't see normal Cotton, so the best target seems to be Crucial Cotton.

Crock: A neat trick with Squash, I suppose. Aside from banishing itself, Lord Poison and Blue Rose Dragon have the same floating ability.
Squash: A good card for cycling. 1800 ATK seems proper for this one.

Scarecrow: Does banishing it from your hand do anything? The field effect is good; it protects your cards without producing advantage.

Onion: This card's a tad overpowered. You can only revive one, I s'pose, and you can't loop it with Enemy Controller, but it has a triangular combo with Squash where you Tribute Summon and Special Summon, then return it to the Graveyard, and raze the field. Perhaps have it destroy only 1 card? "1 or more" is sufficient; "at least" is unneeded.

Pinnacle Crab: Not too powerful. If you could use it during either turn, it would be strong. As-is, it protects you from Mirror Force and maybe Torrential Tribute. Somehow, the terrible cropping adds to the card.

Crucial Cotton: I assume you're returning the card from the Banished Zone (specify). This guy's pretty good, a bit on the cheap side but not as strong as Hyperion.

Critical Cotton: OP! Particularly with Onion. This card is similar to Celestia, Lightsworn Angel, but banishes instead of destroying. Tone it down a bit, maybe to banish 1 card. That would make it a mildly stronger Dragunity Legionnaire.

Pumpkin: This card has excessive power, and it can be abused with Koa'ki Meiru Gravirose. Negating the opponent's Spell Cards for free is too much, even if the effect is mandatory. This also loops with Squash and Critical Cotton, wiping out Traps and blocking Spells. Naturia Beast can do the same, but it usually costs resources to get out--it doesn't give you more back. It's overboard without the draw effect. I suggest taking that out, and having it negate either player's Spell Card.

Deity: Who dat pogeyman. A detached monster is "detached", not "discarded". The cards you can copy are Maple, Squash, Pinnacle Crab, and Crucial Cotton. Of those, only Crucial Cotton and Squash are useful, and you'd need Crucial Cotton out already to Summon this guy. All in all, not worth the cost of Summoning.

Guardian: The protection is nicely circular and he has lots of ATK, but he's very vulnerable to Effect Monster Effects. He doesn't synergize with your other guys.

To answer some questions:

Maple: Yeah I noticed that a while back. They are returning from the field to the deck.

Scarecrow: It helps feed Onion :o

Onion + Critical Cotton: They were both changed to 1.

Pumpkin: He was changed to him and 1 other E.G monster in the graveyard. :o

Diety: I had planned on making some stronger effect level 5's. But I'm pretty much at a loss of ideas.

Guardian: He was meant to be weak against Monster Effects. I didn't want to make him indestructible. But, I figured people usually use their spell and traps to handle monster destruction. :o
