.Requiem
I am thinking about getting back in YuGiOh have very little clue where to start with the current meta. I used to run a machine deck. The cards I have are cyber dragons, a bunch of machinas, some morphtronics and a pile of random cards I need to go through. Also a few staple synchros like Stardust Dragon and Bloodrose Dragon. I also got a few Black Salvo I got from a friend. Is there any deck types that something along the line of machine synchro. I don't want to invest too much into this. So if I could stay on that deck type that would be great. If it isn't all that great of a deck type. I will be willing to look at other options. Jesse S Hall
I would say Karakuri, but it won't really go with what you have, sorry to say.
Legend Zero
Yeah, Karakuri would be the best deck for Machines. Since you don't have any you could go the Machina route or try Cydra.dek, not sure how it would do against meta decks but w/e.
BlueBladeDuality
I use Ally of Justice, and they work very well for me. They are a dark attribute machine deck that revolves around hindering light attribute monsters, the most versatile monster being the level 5 synchro: Ally of Justice Catastor, who destroys any non dark monster it battles. But since you have Cyber Dragons, they could work, too.
.Requiem
Well point me in a direction, I am willing start somewhere. Cybers still good?
Jesse S Hall
f*** it, I'll go s*** out a Machina build, those are usually cheap and coolz. But staples are expensive so I'll dumb it down.
BlueBladeDuality
Sorry I took so long to respond. I was eating dinner. But, yeah, my best friend uses a Cyber Dragon deck, and he beats me more often than not (despite the fact that the Allies of Justice are designed to counter lights). He tributes my monsters for Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, and that's how he counters my deck.

BlueBladeDuality
He normally goes for 2000 ATK, but with Burden of the Mighty on my side of the field, it's at 1200. Pretty easy to destroy. So I've been telling him to hold off with Chimeratech until there are more monsters to tribute. Then, it'll be harder to destroy. .Requiem
Then he took all your monster and killed you?
BlueBladeDuality
Pretty much. I'm helping him because we're going to partner up and attempt to win an official tournament. And I have beaten him before. A lot actually (recently, at least). If I summon Quarantine, he is screwed. Now, I've been replying to you a lot. So I think you should check out my deck format (Ally of Justice ReCYCLEr). .Requiem
Seems to hinge on if your opponent is playing light monsters. What happens if the don't, seems way too situational.
