Lunar Origins
Well, I can safely say that after watching the first season of Clannad that... I was slightly emotional abut some of the stories. Kotomi's in particular, I thought that was the best. Discuss times you've been touched by a story unexpectedly.. Fusion X. Denver
My top 5 animes have all touched me in some shape or form. There's also cool human stories to hear, like that old guy who learned to read and wrote a book 2 years later. Best story though would have to be my dad's after making a miraculous recovery after having a stroke 4 years ago.

Just Crouton
That scene in the last episode of Power Rangers Wild Force where the powerless rangers confront a giant Master Org, and Red leads the team in their ranger roll call without their powers. The acting from Red is so bad and cheesy, yet it makes this dramatic scene so much better. Cole Evans and his terrible acting are so awesome...but Carter Grayson shot 2 giant monsters in the face with his blasters. That season finale of Criminal Intent where Goren confronts his mentor and realizes his mentor murdered Goren's brother and Nicole Wallace. The show jumped the shark after that. That episode of Kuuga where he beats a monster to a bloody pulp while the scene jumps back and forth between that and two little kids getting along after a fight (it was a subplot in the past 2 episodes.) When the gazelle Masked Rider was killed by Ohja. Joey Wheeler's subplot about Serenity going blind. When Dinobot died in Beast Wars. Final Fantasy 4's love triangle. Final Fantasy Tactics as a whole touched me more than any other game made by Squeenix because it didn't try to manipulate my emotions. Delita deserves a spot on the next Dissidia roster. Criminal Minds when Hotch's wife was killed.
CrabHelmet
No movie has ever touched me tbh.
I'm the opposite; things that happen to people around me rarely touch me (my oldest friend's mother is currently dying of cancer and I don't feel a thing), but fiction can easily make me cry (anyone who can watch Buffy's "The Body" with dry eyes has no soul). burnpsy
Just like Crab Helmet, fiction has a much easier time making me tear up than IRL stuff. That said, if what happens is too cliche, I'll have a subdued reaction because I've seen it a million times already.

Makο
"Huh. The Originals and the clones are fighting. This could get interesting!" *Ash get shot and turned to stone* "Wh-wha?" *Pikachu starts to cry* And that is the earliest moment of crying about a story I can EVER remember. ...well, there was the Pikachu's vacation short, which showed BEFORE the first movie. Always teared up when Charizard started to as well.

Negima!?, however, was an original story. The saddest point there was probably... the thing with Negi's father in the last episode.

burnpsy
OK, clarifying. Negima! (manga) is the original. Negima!? Neo is a spin-off manga. Negima! (anime) was the first anime that had the Gecko Ending. Negima!? was the second anime that made up its own tale, loosely based on Neo. Negima!! was the live-action adaptation that nobody dares bring up. There are more spin-offs, but that should be clear enough for what I just said. CrystalCyae
Bridge to Teribithia. God that movie made me cry so much at the very end. She's on the tyre swing, she falls, she drowns in the river. And her boyfriend is off with his teacher (don't ask me why) It just seems so stupid now. But then, it was so god damn tear inducing. I haven't actually watched it since. Toy Soldiers also makes me cry, mainly when Joey dies. All because his dad is Mafia, he is allowed to go, but refuses and gets himself shot while trying to shot some ass. The idiot. But you gotta admire that he was unwilling to leave the school without his friends, hence the eventual shooting. The first Pokemon movie WOULD have made me cry, except the version I watched was so badly out of sync with the words that it made no sense.
