burnpsy
How do I find some of the standard Windows 7 applications (Calculator, Movie Maker, etc), and how to I add them back to my Start Menu? I haven't the slightest clue where to find them under Program Files, nor how to put them back.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Does your start bar have a search function? Could probably do it from there.
burnpsy
Oh. Yeah, that'll do it. I forgot that feature because I've literally never needed it. In that case, does anyone have a list of default Windows 7 programs handy?
Ieyasu Tokugawa
It's really just whatever you use the most. Mine has internet, calculator and powerpoint only because I use those more often than most of my other programs. Unless you mean the shortcuts like Documents and Computer. burnpsy
I meant the pre-installed programs like Movie Maker that are there when you first use the computer. I don't want to need 'em later only to not find them. My Desktop was wiped too, so I have to track down nearly everything. It would help if I knew about the stuff I didn't personally install. The bar at the bottom was also emptied.

Kizzi
Just get used to searching for stuff, because search is way better than the shitty menu they introduced with W7 (or was it vista? and search is even better than xpstyle).

Yasu
Most of those are located in System32. I Just hold windows+r and type the name of the file without the extension. You can even place custom shortcuts.
