The "Geisterhafts" are a series of Spirit Monsters all based on German military units of World War II. They take advantage of Spirits' hand-returning effects to launch hit-and-run attacks; their ATK is disproportionately high compared to their Level. However, if your opponent manages to catch one and attack it, "Geisterhaft" monsters use their rotten DEF, even when in Attack Position. This card returns to the hand during the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this face-up Attack Position card is attacked, its ATK becomes equal to its DEF during Damage Calculation only. This monster can attack twice per Battle Phase. 2000/750 [b][u][i]Geisterhaft Sturzkampfflugzeug[/i][/u][/b] [img]http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/2901/190391e.jpg[/img] DARK Level 3 Machine/Spirit/Effect This monster is also treated as a WIND monster. This card returns to the hand during the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. This monster cannot be destroyed by card effects on the turn it is Normal Summoned from the hand. If this face-up Attack Position card is attacked, its ATK becomes equal to its DEF during Damage Calculation only. If this face-up Attack Position card is attacked, its ATK becomes equal to its DEF during Damage Calculation only. Stan Alda Posted December 14, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 Well, that's the point. The idea is a "glass cannon"; a fast, offensive monster with poor defenses. And considering it returns to your hand on the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned, it's hard to catch anyway. It's only a weakness if your opponent can keep it on the field somehow. [/quote] They're meant to be a simple hit-and-run beatdown archetype. Summon, attack, return to hand, repeat. [/quote] well that one is a bit simple in terms of effects it's nothing really too new since as spirit monsters they'd have to return to the hand anyway unless you have Spiritual Energy Settling Machine, but that's another matter again, I guess it'll have to depend on if you add more Ghost Army monster cards here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This allows them to "retreat" (that's what "ruckzug" means) [i]immediately[/i] when they would be destroyed by a card effect. But yes, it is also a counter to Spiritual Energy Settle Machine.On a side note, I'm uploading these to Duel Network. Have fun and blast away. [/quote] Actually, they weren't uploading to Duel Network. I should have clarified that. They're up on DN now, though, so feel free to give them a try. I'm still working on the images for the other cards in this set, so it might take a bit before I post any new cards here. You'll probably see them on DN before you see them here.
