Arbit, don't hijack other people's threads.

Cael, these cards are great. Not exactly how I would've done Death Note cards (Death Note always my personal favorite), but they work surprisingly well. A few pointers:

-Yaoi LxRaito image for FF = DO NOT WANT. Change it to an actual screenshot.

-The image for Raito (base) is pretty retarded. Again, screenshots plz.

-Decrease Matsuda's stats to -3000. He's the most useless character ever created, srsly.

Other than that, great.

In all honesty, I feel this set has a good 9/10 average I think, It's very well made with Points, pics, levels, the only thing that get's me is that it seems a bit contradictory. As though either the only way to fight it is with one part of the set against the other, or that playing with these cards would require far too much precision and you'd have little chance of actually getting the chance to play them right. Does that make any sense?

just to inform you, misa's power to not be attacked doesn't work the way i think you want it to. the turn she is summoned ends when the other person draws his/her card.

what you want is "this card can't be attacked until the beginning of your next turn." that works a lot better.

Sweet work, i would have made it easyer to summon them personally, but this way makes it follow the show.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Way too many of the monsters cards have prerequisites, and the effects of the Trap and Spell cards are so specifically precise that I can imagine 80% of the time neither player would have anything useful in a game with those cards. Though the designs themselves aren't bad, just ... difficult to attain. It looks as though you're fiercely attempting to stick the cards into the chronological order of the plot in Death Note, instead of simply allowing a game of chance to be itself.

Or maybe I'm just looking too much into this. xD

The inherent design is great either way. Good illustrations, good premise. Overall it's well done. 8.0/10

From what I've seen of these so far, these are pretty good for a first time user.

OCG looks okay, but I think I'm seeing a couple of errors. But overall, not bad.

Some of the pics are a little bland, but they're okay overall.

Two things, though:

  1. DON'T use fake Types. Those are frowned upon by this community. You can make fake subtypes, however.
  2. Try to avoid making Normal Monsters. Some users here will tell you NEVER to make them, but I believe that you can make a monster a Normal one as long as you have a good reason for it. For example, the first three cards in my Shadow of the Colossus set are Normal Monsters. I got flak for that, but I felt that, since they were the easiest colossi to kill in the game, it was only fitting that they are Normal Monsters. If you really want your card to be a Normal Monster, though, you can make it a Tuner to be on the safe side.

Overall, I think I'll give this a 7.25/10. They're acceptable on most regards, but they may need some work.

Okay, I made these cards in February, and I've been getting comments for the past eleven months.

Clearly, I did something right.

However, I do realize the restrictions on these cards would make them incredibly impractical to play with, and I also have seen the errors pointed out by this community.

Thus, I have decided to remake most, if not all of the cards in an attempt to conform them to Yugioh rules, and make them funner to play with, while still keeping my original design in mind.
