We have all imagined what it would be like to be a superhero. It doesn't really matter what age you are. It really makes you wonder why no one has tried it in real life. Momentarily after writing the previous sentence I got past the first 30 minutes of the Kick-Ass movie. I now see why. But my point still stands. Why hasn't anyone tried it? [/center] [center][i]Purpose.[/i][/center] [center]This thread is something of a competition, it's not really a game so I'm leaving it in the general section. All you have to do is create your own superhero, be as creative as you like. In fact, creativity is encouraged. For example, you make a British superhero whose name is 'Fatman' and has an American butler named 'Wilfred' well then, we all know you're not going to win. [/center] [center][i]The prize.[/i][/center] [center]For the amount of effort that the winner has put into their superhero they will be awarded 5 reps. But there is more, if the person is willing to give out their address or even a friends address and said person has put enough effort into the superhero they made they will receive 1 Batman and 1 Superman comic book. Lunar Origins Posted December 21, 2011 Report Share Posted December 21, 2011 Username: Lunae Superhero Name: Winchester Superhero Power: Kinetic absorption, sensory, and redirection. He can take the energy out of a moving object and redirect it into another object, or even himself, without losing the power that energy had. So, basically, he can catch a bullet in one hand and store that energy in his body. When need be, he can apply that energy to the bullet he caught and redirect it at his enemy. Same goes for physical blows, too- he can take a hit without taking any damage whatsoever and dish it right back at you, 120%. This power can also be used to create seismic waves from where he is standing. As he grows stronger, he can stop most things from moving by absorbing their energy- even the beating heart of a living thing. This sort of power, if used to its full potential, can even stop atoms from moving, causing an intensely cold aura around whatever it stops. If unable to redirect the absorbed energy, he can apply it to nearly anything around him or release it in a wave, blasting most objects away from him with destructive force. Superhero Costume/Appearance: Winchester wears a beige trench coat, and under that a black armor-reinforced suit with studs speckling various areas, which he can apply his kinetic force to to make them explode out. Kind of like bullets, if you catch my drift. The trench coat is usually drawn over his actual costume, as to hide his appearance. On his head he wears a matching trilby, and can usually be seen with a light scrag of a beard and a cigarette in his mouth. When out of his coat and regular attire, though, he wears a mask that covers every feature of his face- not even eye holes show, as they are unneeded with his ability to sense energy. Good hand-to-hand combat skills, above average marksman, hidden weapons such as miniature bombs, knives, handcuffs, etc. Heightened senses and abilities when drunk. Superhero Costume/Appearance: White sailor's outfit and captain's hat. Bullet proof vest under outfit. Eyepatch over right eye. Prosthetic left arm and large hook (think Crocodile from One Piece) replacing left hand. Black Boots. Long blond hair and brown eyes. Carries around a bottle of whisky. Superhero Biography: Widowed wife of a fishing boat captain, Alexandria "Alex" Reinard decides to take over the fishing business with her late husband's crew. She has extensive knowledge of the boat and the job from her husband, it also helps that she is a genius and remembers almost everything she's told. One day the boat is sabotaged by rival fisherman and sinks, while in the water her left arm was eaten by a shark. The crew was saved and Alex received treatment for her arm, and it is replaced by prosthetics. Now jobless, she had to find a way to support her three children. She was unsuccessful at finding a job, so she decided to volunteer for government testing for some money. She was injected with a serum that was supposed to heighten the senses and muscle reflexes, but failed. Later that night, Alex decided to have a few beers to take the edge off. She discovered that the tests did work, but the effects are triggered by alcohol. Knowing this, she decides to become a bounty hunter for the money. While drunk, she decides to "upgrade" her prosthetic arm. She hollows out her arm to hide various weapons and other items. She gets drunk before every outing. Although being drunk enhances her abilities, she gets a little loopy. While drunk she decides to dress up in a sailor's outfit and wear her captain's hat. She even wears an eye patch for the hell of it (but it does help her aim with a gun), and decides to replace her left hand with a hook for fun too. Collecting bounty's soon made her well known and feared due to her strange clothes and hook hand, however some looked up to her for ridding the world of criminals. Soon she was fighting crime just to do it. She still collected bounty's on the side for her family, but has become a much bigger crime fighter. [/spoiler] (Kinda crappy description and bio, but I tried. I don't really want the comics if I win, depending if that is a prize, you can just give them to the runner up. I just wanna win.)
