Please leave ways to make the cards better. I'd eventually like to make this one into a set.
Travie
Isn't Avatar Aang essentially a ritual card given that you have to tribute a monster + a spell in order to special summon it? Other than that the OCG is way off. Things such as special summon = Special Summon.

Mr. guy
I'm sorry. This is my favorite show, and I won't stand for someone making these cards bad. I WILL FINISH LATER
First off, OCG isn't all that significant. It has become for a lot of members, but it doesn't mean it should be. Sure OCG is important to add to the cards realism, but it isn't everything. I would stress his creativity more, especially within pop culture cards. In pop culture the card should relate to the person they are making it off as much as possible while maintaining a realistic and balanced effect. For instance; someone makes a Chuck Norris card: Chuck Norris ATK: 6000 DEF: 3000 Effect: DESTROYS ALL MONSTERS ON THE FIELD, HURR. How does that even relate to Chuck Norris? Sure, it's relating to his legend but not the actual person. A more realistic card would be: Chuck Norris ATK: 2300 DEF: 1500 (From what I can remember Chuck Norris is better at striking than blocking. So I put a realistic and reasonable attack in.) Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned increase all face-up Warrior-Type monsters ATK and DEF by 300. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard you can Special Summon this card from the Graveyard to the field in face-up DEF position. This effect can only be used once. That effect was way more realistic and actually related to Chuck Norris, even if I only got it. Chuck Norris is an instructor in his own martial art known as 'Chuk Kuk Do', it is his job to make his students stronger. In terms of Yugioh, make their ATK and DEF higher. In the last bit I was playing to his legend a bit but still in a reasonable way. He was destroyed and was allowed to be ressurected once, his main attack isn't allowed to be used because this card has been special summoned. It doesn't have to be an obvious relation, just as long as the relation is there. To top it all off you called his cards bad BUT, your OCG was way off. .-. Mr. guy
I didn't really hate on his ocg so much as his design. His cards didn't make much sense and were not balanced. They're still his cards obviously he doest have to take my advice but I think they could be betterWaterbender Katara **** Water attribute Warrior/effect 1650/1000 When this card is normal or special summoned it is changed to DEF position. Increase the DEF of this card by 100 points for each monster in your graveyard. You can offer this face-up card you control as a tribute to draw 1 card. Master Pakku's teachings Equip spell card This card can only be equipped to a WATER monster. Increase the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster by 500 points. Master Waterbender Katara ******** Water attribute Warrior/effect 3000/2100 This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by offering one face-up "Waterbender Katara" equipped with "The Teachings of Master Pakku" on your side of the field as a tribute. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you may draw 1 card. Firebender Iroh ******* Fire attribute Warrior/effect 3000/2500 This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by offering one "Firebender Zuko" on your side of the field as a tribute. You may increase this card's ATK by the number of FIRE attributed monsters in your graveyard x 200; if you use this effect, this card cannot declare an attack this turn. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, special summon one "Firebender Zuko" from your graveyard. I actually like Sokka's' effect. Nice and fitting. Remember these are my opinions only, do whatever you want with this set, I just wanted to throw my two cents in because I am such a fan of the show. Cheers. NumberCruncher
I like Mr. Guy's interpretation of the effect much better, barring the keeping of Swordsmaster Sokka's effect and his Master Pakku's Teachings. If I were to make them, I would say ... Master Pakku's Teachings [Spell/Equip] Equip only to a WATER monster. That card gains 600 ATK and 1000 DEF. Once per turn, if the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed.(Reference to how most she obtained the teachings as well as her use of them throughout the series, particularly in the last battle.) Swordsmaster Sokka I would make a level 7 and give it "When a "bending" monster attacks, that monster gains 300 ATK, until the End Phase. If this monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard, Special Summon one "Knucklehead Sokka" from your hand, deck, or graveyard." I would also have Avatar Aang and be treated as AIR, WATER, EARTH, and FIRE.
Travie
I would also have Avatar Aang and be treated as AIR, WATER, EARTH, and FIRE.
Making Aang treated as air, water, earth and fire would make him way too overpowered. There are loads of spell cards that revolve around increasing ATK and DEF based on the card's attributes. It would make Aang practically invincible. To top it off there are a lot of cards which contradict attributes, e.g. increase this cards ATK by 500 for each FIRE monster face-up on your side of the field. Decrease this cards DEF by 500 for each WATER monster face-up on your opponent's side of the field. Doesn't really work. .-.
Mr. guy
That's the point. And I thought of putting that in there but didn't really want to go back for it.
