rampragej
I have a question about toon monsters, and in general I would like some advice on how to make a toon deck effective.Does summoning a toon count as a special summon? I ask for two reasons: 1. The Yugioh wiki says it does, but the cards themselves (Besides Toon Dark Magician Girl) don't really specify it. 2. Other than the reliance on having Toon World on the field, Toons are kind of OP, even without being able to effectively summon an infinite number of them per turn (What you could do if their summons counted as special summons). Also, is it worth putting every toon possible in a toon deck? On one hand, it would let you quickly develop a field advantage (And because of toon's effects, a life point advantage), but at the same time, it would stop you from getting the key card: Toon World. What kind of other (non-toon) cards would you recommend in a toon deck? I have card guard, Dark-eyes illusionist (Not sure why, should I get rid of it?), monster reborn (I only play with my friends, so we don't have any cards banned), Copycat, BLSEotB, sould exchange, robbin' goblin, and a few other random cards. Upon writing them down, I realize they might not go that well together. Can somebody who's acually good at this game help me?
Guest Welche
Now a discussion about Toons to avoid the thread being illegal. Next time check out the Ruling thread FYI ^_^ 1. They count as SSs. You can do so as many times as you want I believe given you have the cards in your hand. 2. You hit the nail on the head. The reliance on Toon World plus the lack of effects other than their direct attacks makes them too easy to counter. They also run through cards really fast because you will summon as many as you can.
