These cards are known as the Armor monsters. An Armor Summon uses the monsters you control as Armor Material. The Armor Material monsters are overlayed in 1 of the Spell and Trap Card Zones and then the monsters overlayed in the Spell and Trap Card Zone become the materials for the Armor monster you are attempting to summon. The Armor monster is Summoned to 1 of your Monster Card Zones in any face-up battle position you choose. The Armor Material monsters are not Spell or traps cards and are treated as monsters cards for card effects like "Tribute to the Doomed" or "Dark Hole", those cards destroy the material monsters even though the materials are in the Spell and Trap Card Zone. Cards like "Heavy Storm" or "MST" cannot destroy the material monsters. Instead of the Armor Material monsters going to the Graveyard to activate the Armor monster's effect, they are shuffled into the Deck.

How to Armor Summon in detail - The Armor Material monsters have to be the same level. It is almost like how Xyz monsters operate. Say if you have 2 level 4 monsters on your field, you would overlay the 2 material monsters in 1 open Spell and Trap Card Zone and then Armor Summon a level 4 Armor monster from your Extra Deck to your field in 1 of the Monster Card Zones. The monsters in the Spell and Trap Card Zone now become Armor Material to the Armor monster you just summoned. Then the effect of the Armor monsters shuffle their Armor Materials into their owner's Deck to activate their effect. Some Armor monsters require 3 Materials to be summoned but the same rules still apply.

Armor monster Rulings - If the Armor monster is ever removed from the field, the materials are sent to the Graveyard. If the Armor monster is used as Xyz Material, the Armor Material that was on it is sent to the Graveyard. Tokens cannot be used as Armor Material but trap card monsters can be because tokens are not usable Material monsters to shuffle into the Deck.
Now that explained everything about them, Here is 2 Armor monsters that I made.
3 level 2 monsters
This card gains 400 ATK for each Armor Material on it. Once per turn: you can shuffle 1 Armor Material on this card into your Deck: target 1 card your opponent controls and return that card to its owner's hand. (you can activate this effect during either player's turn) If this card has no Armor Material: this card can attack your opponent directly.

2 level 3 monsters
Once per turn during your opponent's turn: you can shuffle 1 Armor Material on this card into your Deck: target 1 monster you control and that monster cannot be destroyed by battle this turn and you take no battle damage from battles involving that monster until the End Phase. If this card has no Armor Material: destroy this card and Special Summon 1 of its Armor Materials from your Deck.
Story behind Symbols: Symbols are just like Numbers in Yugioh Zexal, except Symbols are Armor monsters and Numbers are Xyz monsters.

I have a beautiful habit of shattering dreams:

They exist already. I suggest you rename them, or leave this concept alone.

And anyway, the concept is far too similar to Xyz monsters. It's just a much more vulnerable one, that's all. And you do that by making a strong but fragile Xyz monster. And makes these things redundant.
