jacky0731
Hi all, I've been going through all the Aqua-type monster cards lately and found that they are extremely weak and doesnt even fall into any kind of 'theme' or playstyle. So after some hard thinking i came up with this set of card ideas which mainly focuses on making these new Aqua type cards become "Equip support" Cards, much like union Monsters. Afterall, water sticks to things and provide us with life and support! Well heres my ideas below but due to my inability to find any suitable good looking pics for them, i'm just gonna post the txt When i get some cool pics in the future I will hopefully post a full set with fully made Cards! Edit: I'm in the process of finding suitable art pics for all the cards Words in RED are edited stuff since the 1st reply comment. AQUA SET: Fountain of Eden FIELD SPELLs ///////// The Fountain of Eden Field Spell Card Increase the ATK and DEF of all WATER and EARTH monsters by 200. Special summon 1 WATER monster from either your hand or graveyard. The attacking Monster must attack the special summoned Monster, if able, during this turn. Destroy the summoned Monster at the end phase of this card's activation. ///////// Enhanced Watery shield Continuos Trap Once per turn, Monsters you control that are equipped with Aqua-type Monsters cannot be destroyed by your opponent's Spell or Trap cards. ///////// Ok thats it for now, i think they're quite balanced and they should become quite a good support for any type of deck that likes having monsters filling up the Spell/Trap zones. I think this set provides a nice niche for Aqua-type monsters and i wish they can become a strong type in the future! Tell me what u think guys PS: If sum1 could find me some artwork suitable for the cards that'd be so awesome!

ragnarok1945
all right I'll just rate the ones where you have pics Splasha is good, a quickplay Shield and Sword. 1500 atk isn't really much, but most monsters don't have much def nowadays Vapor is fine, nothing wrong with the effect. Mylakos I'm unsure if you need a max limit to the atk boosting effect, you can argue either way since the atk gain is only 200 per equip Aslarn's LP gain effect is meh, it's too small to be of much use, better had you burned your opponent with it

My idea was that it could become a 2300 ATK monster with Droplet equipped, or become a hardy burn/card destructer with Splasha/Vapor. Aslarn is supposed to be peaceful so its LP gain is just a small bonus hehe, because its main purpose is to become a wall while at the same time letting u choose to send those Aqua-equipped Monsters to the GY or not to activate their effects. This Set is mainly about recycling the 1-3 Star Monsters to equip them for different effects, and to summon Rainos/Aslarn when u need the fire power. This set can Heal/Swarm (through Field card/Spells, Aslarn, and other Aqua-type Monster equip enabling effects), Burn (by equipping Splasha, or using Rainos) and Destroy cards (Vapor, rainos). Its the diversity of things this set can deliver thats divines this set, its quite nice IMO. Edit: Just lowered Geysus's ATK from 2300 to 2200, to make it less powerful due to its summon effect at the start and its safe-proof effect.
