Holofoil
I came across a Shonen Jump magazine with a free card. The card was "Meklord Emporer Granel." I didn't really think much about it, I just thought of it as a free card that came with the magazine. A little later, I decided to read its effect. Its power caught my attention, but the obscure way of summoning it made me experiment a little with some lonely cards that I had in my card bin. I decided to make a Deck that revolves around level 3 monsters that either kill themselves by effect, or search for specific cards through my Deck (to make it easier to find Meklord). I also have a few other cards that also support the self-destruction, and cards that increase my life points, just to help Meklord. It's a rough idea, but this is what I have so far, so just give me some opinions on this Deck. What I should keep and what I should replace.

Holofoil
I probably should've explained what this Deck does. Meklord Emporer Granel is the key card for this Deck. Here's his effect. "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by its own effect. When a face-up monster you control is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to half of your Life Points. Once per turn, you can select 1 Synchro Monster your opponent controls and equip it to this card. This card gains ATK equal to those equipped monsters' combined ATK. During your Main Phase, you can select 1 of those equipped monsters, and Special Summon it to your side of the field in face-up Defense Position." Every other monster in this Deck has an effect that either kills themselves by effect, or searches for cards in my Deck, to easily summon Emporer Granel. Gravity Bind and Level Limit - Area B are there because every monster in my Deck is a level 3 or lower. Infinite Dismissal and Weed Out can kill my level 3 monsters by effect, and Infinite Dismissal has no effect on Emporer Granel, since he was Special Summoned. Altar For Tribute removes a monster from my field by effect (not tribute) and increases my Life Points by that monster's original ATK, which summons Emporer Granel and increases his power. Enchanted Javelin and Draining Shield are here to negate attacks and increase Life Points, for Emporer Granel, and Dark Bribe, Mirror Force, and Threatening Roar are there just because they're good cards. This is just an idea I had when I found Emporer Granel in a Shonen Jump magazine, it's just a start. I could still use some suggestions for cards to replace or remove. Solemn Silver
Play Scraps Play granel ??? Profit On a serious note: You can't go having a deck based on one card. with all of your nuking monsters, your not going to always have Granel, and you'll be stuck in the mud. thats why if you want to play Granel, its best to use it in a deck that can do other things as well, like scraps. Though, scraps are tier 2.5 this format I believe, and even if you were to play them, PLEASE, stick to only playing 3 beast, 3 chimera and 1 goblin. The other Scraps are not good. Holofoil
Nice suggestions, I'll add them. ...and with all honesty, most of the nuking monsters I have were the first ones I could find. I'm not even too sure if I want to keep Blast Juggler or Kotodama. Black Ptera is nice, since he'll return to my hand after he's nuked. Stealth Bird is a great level 3 card, and Karate Man/Plague Wolf can double their ATK to 2000 (before nuking themselves during the End Phase). Still, this was just a concept I had. I made this thread so I could be given some suggestions for the Deck, so don't be too surprised if this Deck currently sucks.
Solemn Silver
Mhm I suggest you make scraps By any chance, are you new?
Holofoil
I'm new to playing the the card game (even though I've known the rules for several years, which is really weird), but I've been collecting these cards for over 10 years, so a lot of my cards are pretty old. I thought I'd make a Deck, and came up with this idea when I found the Emporer Granel card. EDIT: By the way, I just played a few Duels with those three cards you suggested (two of each), and I did pretty well, even beating out a Deck with Jinzo and Earthbound Immortals. Thanks for the help.
