BFG Studios
Operation: Prevention is NEW and has just been added Operations are Spell and Trap cards that focus on using multiple effects and props such as die and coins, they do not support themselves... Their images are based off of Machines because they are the ones that run on functions and operations... even if it doesnt exactly matter, i explain why the pic is used too
Pic = The arm is special and ready to extract souls and energy Lore: If the equipped monster destroys a monster your opponent controls by battle, target the destroyed monster and activate 1 of these effects: - Add the target's ATK and DEF: Halve the result; add the amount to your Life Points. - Take the target's Level/Rank x 100; add the result to the equipped monster's ATK or DEF.

Pic = There are multiple mechanical devices to choose and gamble on Lore: Select and activate 1 of these effects: - Roll a six-sided die: Multiply the result by 200; increase 1 of your monster's ATK by the multiplied number. - Flip a coin and call Heads or Tails. If you call it right: Banish 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field.

Pic = The life is getting absorbed and charged Lore: If your opponent uses an effect to gain Life Points: Flip a coin and call it Heads or Tails. If you call it right, select and activate 1 of these effects: - Your opponent's Life Points decrease by the amount from the effect instead. - Your Life Points increase from the effect; your opponent's Life Points stay the same.

Pic = So many panels and cards; giving so many opportunities Lore: If a monster you control is targeted for an attack: Roll a six-sided die. If the result is a 1 or 2: The target is not destroyed and any damage you would have received is reduced to 0. If the result is a 5 or 6: Banish the target and take double the amount of damage you would have received.

Pic = A deployed shield; taking the damage... preventing a certain outcome Lore: If a monster you control would be destroyed by your opponent and you would take damage, target your monster and activate 1 of these effects: - The target is destroyed; you take no damage. - The target is not destroyed; you take the damage. - Banish the target; your opponent takes the damage you would have received.
I've never really made an archetype before, but i know that if i ever wanted to, it would deal with multiple effects and spell/trap cards... eventually this is what i came up with: Operations... i'm sure it's not the most original, but it's something at least, giving support to multiple effect type cards... i made some of these cards long ago, but they never really got much attention, so now this is my post for showing them off... despite the fact that i dont know how good they are... which is why i like feedback any and all feedback is appreciated... again, its not the greatest archetype because it doesnt support itself, but it has a theme at least... but thanks for any feedback in advance, and i hope you like the cards

BFG Studios
well umm... thanks for the great rate, but could you give more of a description on why you think these cards are good? or what needs to be done with them? etc.

ragnarok1945
for Extract, the 1st effect is a little like Shinato's effect, which is fine, LP gain should be significant enough. 2nd effect works too, nice to see it's a permanent gain Gambler's 1st effect is basically a stronger Graceful Dice effect, but at least it's permanent. I'm surprised your 2nd effect you didn't say what would happen if you called it wrong Same goes with Life: you should have also put an effect for what happens if you call it wrong Likewise for Opportunity, I'm surprised there's no effect for 3 or

Gambler = Call the coin effect wrong, you just wasted a big gamble (see what i did there?) lol Life = Call the coin wrong, your opponent's life points increase and yours stay the same, plus you wasted this card Opportunity = Kind of a personal easter egg for me... but on topic: 3 or 4 in a 1-6 range is neutral, so if you roll those, nothing special happens and your monster is destroyed as usual... BFG Studios
Just added Operation: Prevention - something that isnt as powerful, but can be used as a stalling technique... hope you all enjoy that new addition, and the whole set in general
ragnarok1945
well both effects are rather simple still, in this case Operation Prevention isn't really as powerful as spell of pain here your opponent will never take damage, whereas spell of pain could make that happen
BFG Studios
well i guess i could help it out a little there, [s]Opportunity[/s] Prevention (edit) now has another effect to choose from
ragnarok1945
well so far the effects for opportunity is good but why didn't you give any effects for the 3 or 4 result?
BFG Studios
oh... whoops, i meant to say Prevention... but Opportunity's die numbers are based off of 1-2 = Good Luck ; 3-4 = Neutral ; 5-6 = Bad Luck ... i just thought that neutral should be what would happen normally, no effect
ragnarok1945
well there could also have been the case of 1, 2, and 3 = good luck and 4, 5, and 6 = bad luck
BFG Studios
well... i'll see to changing them if i feel like it would work... other than that, hope you get to see prevention's new effect
ragnarok1945
yeah I saw the new effect it's certainly better than Ring of Destruction + Ring of Defense since you're banishing it instead of sending it to the graveyard
