It's been a while since I made a Gemini, so here's a new one.

Enjoy.

Effect: You can banish 1 Gemini Monster in your hand: Special Summon this card (from your hand). This card is treated as a Normal Monster while on the field and in the Graveyard. You can Normal Summon this face-up card: It is treated as an Effect Monster, and gains the following effect:
* While this card is face-up: Cards destroyed by Effect Gemini Monsters you control cannot be applied for other cards while in the Graveyard. If this card would be applied for an opponent's card effect: You can apply 1 other Effect Gemini Monster you control instead.

What is this effect what does it do I'm so confused (Needs to be worded better)

'Apply' and 'Use' can be synonomous; in this case the first half of the Gemini Effect could easily have used 'Use' instead of 'Apply'. As for the second half of the Gemini Effect, it simply means that if it would be hit by "Scrap Dragon", "Smashing Ground" or something like that, it could change the destroyed monster to another Effect Gemini Monster you control.

"While this card is face-up: Cards destroyed by Effect Gemini Monsters you control cannot be applied for other cards while in the Graveyard"

This confuses me. Can you write an example, Max?

Example 1: Opponent controls "Lustre Dragon", and "Call of the Haunted" face-down. This destroys "Lustre Dragon" by battle, and sends it to the Graveyard. A second monster you control attacks directly. Opponent attempts to activate "Call of the Haunted" to revive "Lustre Dragon", but cannot since "Lustre Dragon" cannot be applied for "Call of the Haunted". They can revive another monster in their Graveyard, but not "Lustre Dragon".

Example 2: Opponent controls "Jain, Lightsworn Paladin"; you control this. Opponent suicides "Jain" onto "Lotus Azul" to give them the fourth "Lightsworn" for "Judgment Dragon". However, because of this card's effect, "Jain" is not counted for "Judgment Dragon's" Summoning Effect, which can only 'see' three "Lightsworns" in the Graveyard.
