So, once i got the name of all "Knight" digimons, i started doing them. A major change is the fact that for the pictures, i use screenshots of the series instead of "Googled" images. Another change is that i'll do spell cards for every attack that i can get a clear screen shot. The black ones (normally called Knightmon (Black)) obey they lords even if that means killing their own family, and destroying the justice (these type is the one that is summoned via the control spire, and the ones that server LordKnightmon on savers (season 5)), while the white ones (simply Knightmon) will disobey their lord if he orders Knightmon to do something against his ideals, like killing an inocent, torturing someone, etc. and even may leave and fight against its old lord, as he doesn't recognize as his lord someone who orders doing things like that. There is only a way to know the type of knightmon, and its looking his cape. The Knightmon (Black) have a black cape, and the white Knightmon, have a white one. Holy Cleanser Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 Its the dubbed name, the original japanese name is Dukemon The first time Guilmon and Takato matrix to Dukemon: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkenksIx-Zs[/media] Dukemon Crimson Mode, from the 2nd Tamers (3rd season) movie: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENkjKz8CpaM[/media] When they dubbed the series, they changed a lot of names (mainly because of religious, terrorist, or sexual motives), like HolyAngemon to MagnaAngemon, Tailmon to Gatomon, Vamdemon to Myotismon, LordKnightmon to Crusadermon, KaiserGreymon to EmperorGreymon. Same for attacks names, for example : Genocide Attack to Dark Missile Attack (Megadramon), Brahma Shil to Solar Wind Destroyer (Aldhamon, they also changed his name, to BurningGreymon), Heaven's Gate to Gates of Destiny (HolyAngemon, as stated before, they changed his name), Gaia Force to Terra Force (WarGreymon). Its quite common to dubbers change names, even of the main characters (Taichi to Tai, Hikari to Kari, Takeru to T.K., etc...), but i personally hate that.... Holy Cleanser Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 Well, you should, the history is pretty darker in the original series, plus, the way WarGreymon screams "GAIA FORCE!" when he launchs the attack is awesome (just to put an example xD), the dubbed ver is s*** compared to the original one. Other things they change is dialogs, mainly when certain themes are touched (like sexual jokes and so on), but in some cases to make a bad guy look like a stupid, like when Ken and Takato fights on the Digimon Kaiser Fortress, when takato leaves to fight Chimeramon, in the dub ken says "I guess im not so cool as i think i am", while in the original he just says "Insects.." ChaosDukemon is a Dark Knight Digimon whose name and design are derived from "Chaos Dukemon". It is a Dukemon that has awakened the virus-instinct inherent to its species. Like Dukemon, ChaosDukemon is equipped with a lance and a shield, though they are the diabolic Balmung lance and Gorgon shield, rather than the holy Gram Lance and Aegis Shield.
