Kingdom Xathers
Sinister Serpent is absolute crap. Why would you ban a 300 ATK monster while Gene-Warped Warwolf is running rampant? For pete's sake! They let overpowered 2000 beaters who have ABSOLUTELY no drawbacks at all loose, but this gets banned? Sheesh.
Reasons why cards like Gene-Warped and Alexandrite Dragon are able to run amok: 1: They're not part of a Deck/Archetype that would severely abuse them (outside of a few combos, inb4rescuerabbit) 2: They, as well as other Normal Monsters, are not used as much in this meta, if at all (again, inb4rabbit) 3: Having 2000 ATK doesn't automatically warrant a side effect. Having 2000+ ATK and/or a very beneficial effect does. That may have been the case in the Stone Ages of YGO, but not so much this time. To go off on a greater tangent; There'd be a better chance of Konami forcing us to include at least 1 Two-Tribute Tribute Monster than banning/Limiting 2000 ATK Normal Monsters just for the sake of an abuseable Effect Monster that's been banned for at least 12 formats. ... I'm getting tired the more I type, so I might not even be making any sense to any of you people. idgaf
RAEGING D0GKING
Treeborn is at 3 and this is at 0. Tho this is better still they are kinda the same. Except during you stanbdy phase you could just abuse raigeki breaks and s*** while with treeborn you could abuse e-con. In the end this should never comeback

I know what I'm talking about. I know what's overpowered and what isn't. And Gene-Warped is broken beyond belief. 2000 ATK and Level 4? Gemini Elf was bad enough! Level 4, 2000 ATK with no drawback is OVERPOWERED! With 3 Axe of Despairs, it has 5000 ATK. Are you dense? Do you not see the white text below? You took that seriously?
Doesn't sound like anything big. I mean, what can you exactly do with 3 Sinister Serpents in your hand that decks today can do? Advantage doesn't mean anything if it doesn't help you win faster.

Costless Divine Wraths and Magic Jammers would have a field day in today metagame. Even bad/unplayable cards like Spell Vanishing become ridiculously powerful. Heck, Brionac and Snipe Hunter have better things to use as fodder other than Sinister Serpent, since SS is just really a waste of space in decks today if it were unbanned. It would literally be: set 3/4 cards, normal summon Bountiful Artemis/Thunder King Rai-oh, and proceed to win. And don't tell me its not consistent; Duality, Upstart Goblin, Cards from the Sky, Gold Sarcophagus, Foolish Burial, and Card Destruction say hi. What exactly is better than unlimited discard fodder? Why not run Sinister Serpent with the fodder you already run?
