It's @1 becaue 3 1000 burning walls isn't pleasant, but Reaper is better overall. It's not a -1 Burn, and you must be REALLY bad to compare it to a non-searchable bad -1.

NO ONE RUNS THINGS THAT TARGET THAT DON'T DESTROY, except, like, Glads ._.

Anytime Reaper dies, Marshmallon would, too, sans the mirror, and both are crap in said mirror =/

I thought Mind Control was still a staple.

Reaper is better than Marshmallon, but Marshmallon doesn't have a weakness in the form of a self-destruct clause, has no reason to ever be changed to ATK position (Reaper's effect almost encourages it to be switched to ATK mode at some point), and burns for 1000. It was probably much more dangerous when Book of Moon was at 3, but there's no reason to have it at anything other than 1. Stall isn't good for the game.

Hardly considered our meta now.

And I never said the 1000LP burn was a better effect. Just that the non-destruct ability was far better than Spirit Reaper's. Most cards target now, and target for the most minor of things.
Marshmallon sits and can't be bothered if targeted, unless it's being removed by something.

Spirit Reaper-Opponent targets with something they would have used for their own monster(Example:Safe zone, Forbidden Lance, etc.)

If your willing to attack directly with Spirit Reaper, then your willing to allow your opponent the opportunity to game you within their turn against the Attack-position Reaper, which will happen more likely than you think. Even if they just draw into a 1 card hand with no field.
Anyway, opinions are opinions. I have mine and you have yours, Neither of us are technically wrong about these points.

Back to the topic at hand before this swerves more off road.

Did you really just say that more people use Safe Zone than Maxx "C"

OP made me lose the will to live. He's so f***ing bad. Why would you play a 300/200 with 1000 Burn over something which hits your opponent's hand advantage? Also the targetting thing is nearly completely irrelevant, because even if something targets Marshmallon it will probably die anyway, unless you lance Marshmallon. And if you do that, you're bad.

Burei.

But yeah, reaper > marshmallon. Reaper can minus your opponent when they're down, making it harder for them to come back. 1000 burn is nice, but not really that necessary.

Er, No why?
I'm pretty sure you did.

You said that Maxx "C" isn't commonly used.

And you said something about commonly used cards that target, like Forbidden Lance and Safe Zone.

Nobody uses either of those except in obscure decks like GBs and s***.

And Safe Zone doesn't destroy Reaper.

Aren't Tigerless GBs better? I always thought they were.

-3 Tiger

+1 A Hero Lives
+2 Warning/Bottomless
Tiger = instant whatever glad you want.

Is Prisma really worth all of these cards? Like, all the Elemental Hero cards? Once you get Prisma, won't they be dead draws?
