thekazu4u
"Turns the field into a land of Chaos and Insanity." As long as this card remains Face-Up on the Field: Other Field Spell Cards are treated as Continuous Trap Cards while in the Hand, Field, and Graveyard. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Each player Special Summons one monster in their Graveyard to their Opponent's side of the field. "Destroys an hour of battle." During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated: Both players Life Points become the same as they were when this card was activated. As long as this card remains in the Graveyard: Other Quick-Play Spell Cards are treated as Normal Trap Cards while in the Hand, Field, and Graveyard. "Switches the roles of Master and Servant; releases a monster from the control of the player." Select one Face-Up monster on the field: If it is a DARK monster: it is not effected by its controller's Card Effects and as long as it remains Face-Up on the field it must attack its controller's Life Points directly during each of its controller's Battle Phases. (At this time, it is treated as being controlled by the original controller's opponent.) If it is a LIGHT monster: it cannot be Destroyed by Battle and as long as it remains Face-Up on the field, during each of its controller's Battle Phases: increase its controllers Life Points by the selected monster's Defense Points. As long as this card remains in the Graveyard: Other Normal Spell Cards are treated as Normal Trap Cards while in the Hand, Field, and Graveyard, and you must halve your Life Points during each End Phase. OCG is completely off. I dont even know if anybody can understand them If you can help, it would be very much appreciated. I hope to get the OCG at least understandable to everybody. Also, no I did not build these around a strategy. Balancing them/coming up with a strategy for them would also be appreciated. How they are supposed to work: Monsoon of Flames Makes Field Spells continuous trap cards. (i.e. they must be set before activation, do not take up the field spell zone, and can be activated during the opponent's turn. Also are effected by Jinzo/royal decree etc...) Each player Special Summons one monster to their opponents side of the field from their own graveyard during YOUR (i.e. the controller of Monsoon of Flames's) Main Phase. This is a mandatory effect. Missing Hour Makes Quick-Play spell cards Normal trap cards. (i.e. they must be set before activation, and can be activated during the opponent's turn. Also are effected by Jinzo/royal decree etc...) At the end of the turn, rewind the life points to the same state they were at the start, no matter what happened during the turn. This is a mandatory effect. Monster Release This one I did not do very good lol, I think I tried to make it do too much. The idea is, that if the monster is DARK it must be EVIL, and therefore would betray it's controller. It would attack its controller each turn, and would be immune from it's controllers effects. The point of "At this time, it is treated as being controlled by the original controller's opponent." was to make effects like "if this card inflicts damage to your Opponent's Life Points" work. If they were still in their original controller's control, it would not be inflicting damage to the OPPONENT, therefore this effect would not trigger. Thus, just for the attack, I am switching control of the monster. -.- not very clear -.- ANYWAY... if the monster is LIGHT it must be GOOD, and therefore would continue to help it's controller. It would heal its controller each turn, and would be immune from enemy attacks. Also, it has the normal effect of all cards of this flavor: Makes Normal spell cards Normal trap cards. (i.e. they must be set before activation, and can be activated during the opponent's turn. Also are effected by Jinzo/royal decree etc...) Finally, since I wanted to balance the card, I added in a mandatory cost of paying half your life points each end phase. Feel free to ask questions if any of my explanations was not clear. And I repeat: PLEASE help me with my OCG.
AuroraM
I'm going to try and help with OCG here, though I might completely swap and change some effects to make them easier to...comprehend? Sorry if that's not cool with you, and you don't have to take it them. Monsoon of Flames: As long as this card remains Face-Up on the Field: Other Field Spell Cards are treated as Continuous Trap Cards while in the Hand, Field, and Graveyard. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Each player Special Summons one monster in their Graveyard to their Opponent's side of the field. I don't see any OCG error here, but you might want to clarify what happens if an opponent doesn't have a monster in their graveyard to Special Summon. The Missing Hour: During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated: Both players Life Points become the same as they were when this card was activated. As long as this card remains in the Graveyard: Other Quick-Play Spell Cards are treated as Normal Trap Cards while in the Hand, Field, and Graveyard. This one looks alright. I like the concept, personally. Monster Release: (OCG stuff I corrected will be in bold) Select one Face-Up LIGHT or DARK monster on the field. If it is a DARK monster, it is not affected by its owner's Card Effects and as long as it remains Face-Up on the field it must attack its owner's Life Points directly during each of its owner's Battle Phases. (At this time, it is treated as being controlled by the owner's opponent.) If it is a LIGHT monster: it cannot be Destroyed by Battle and as long as it remains Face-Up on the field, during each of its owner's Battle Phases: increase its owner's Life Points by the selected monster's DEF. As long as this card remains in the Graveyard: Other Normal Spell Cards are treated as Normal Trap Cards while in the Hand, Field, and Graveyard, and you must halve your Life Points during each End Phase. Or, if it's treated as being controlled by the owner's opponent anyways, for its DARK effect, maybe you could do: Select one Face-Up LIGHT or DARK monster on the field. If it is a DARK monster, it is not affected by its owner's Card Effects and as long as it remains Face-Up on the field, switch control of the selected monster to the opposite player. The selected monster must attack its owner's Life Points directly during each of its owner's Battle Phases. If it is a LIGHT monster: it cannot be destroyed by battle and as long as it remains Face-Up on the field, during each of its owner's Battle Phases: increase its owner's Life Points by the selected monster's DEF. As long as this card remains in the Graveyard: Other Normal Spell Cards are treated as Normal Trap Cards while in the Hand, Field, and Graveyard, and you must halve your Life Points during each End Phase. But I don't know if that would screw up what you wanted the effect to do or not. Anyways, that's my take on it. I love the creativity in these cards, they're things I haven't seen much of before! ^^
thekazu4u
Wait, before I worry about the last one (i knew i f**cked that one up) I actually got the first two correct? o.0 And for the last one, I only want it to switch control during the battle phase. I dont want it to be a continuous change of heart against dark monsters.
