Once per turn, when your opponent Special Summons a monster(s): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your hand or Graveyard. Special Summon that target. Monsters Summoned by this effect cannot be destroyed by the effects of your opponent's Spells, Traps and Effect Monsters. When this card leaves the field: Send all monsters Special Summoned by this card's effect to the Graveyard.

Its a pretty good card. Looks more like a Wind-attribute then Light, but whatever. Level 4's are very, very common so it would be easy to summon and it has a good picture. Just one question, since I'm not really good witht his stuff. Since you discard the overlay monster before Special Summoning, could you SS the overlay card you discarded?

You really like to use OCG grammar (BTW Xyz Materials are not [b]discarded[/b], they're [b]detached[/b]). Same here, I personally think the new TCG sucks. But forget that.
About the Xyz Material, in my opinion, you cannot target a Xyz Material the same turn you detach it, since it's a cost to activate this card's effect (You detach a Xyz Material [b]the same[/b] time you target a monster).
But like I said, it's just my opinion. To be honest, I'm kinda confused like you. Can anyone solve this problem?

interestingly enough, I'm surprised you're allowed ANY lv4 monsters to summon this, instead of just machine ones

similarly to target a lv4 or lower monster in your hand/graveyard I'm surprised you allowed for non-machines too

nice way of protecting them though, forces your opponent to destroy them in battle now

OT: I would give it another eff, because right now this card heavily relies on the opponent. The "3 Level 4 Monsters" slot already has Shock Ruler, Disigma, and Ouroboros. I don't really see how this is any better than those in any possible way.
