Thats why Draining Shield is bad. That's why Magical Android is only good in Psychic decks, but Catastor/Librarian go everywhere. And it sucks against DARK decks.....which isnt even a theme...... Seriously, go learn to play the game and you will understand why the whole of TCG is laughing at you right now. Heros suck unless they are Fusion Gate Heroes, Foolish Burial can set your Graveyard up for a multitude of plays, and Poison of the Old Man is only used in Chain Burn. Go and learn about the meta, and you'll understand that Plants, Agents, and Rabbit are the only decks that are run anymore. Also, if you use draining shield one turn, the next turn, your opponent can immediatly remove all the just gained LP with 1 attack.The only decks in which LP do matter are burn decks. Increasing your life points does not reduce the other player to zero life points. Blocking an attack does not reduce the other player to zero life points. However, something like reducing the other players life points (such as with Magical Cylinder) could help in reducing the other player to zero life points. Destroying a monster and being given a good chance to attack directly and reducing your opponents life points could help in reducing their life points. But cards that don't help with either of these two things are typically considered awful, and that's what Draining Shield does. That's like, basics of Yu-Gi-Oh. Off-topic again: For shame TCG. Just should have just explained it quickly and then went back to discussing Catastor instead of exploding with a 'OMG! URSOSTUPID!"
