Replacement Staples - because Monster Reborn is soooo Yesterday

Edit: Sorry of images are not showing for the cards, it is not my fault

So, I made this thread in Pojo where I tried to decide which cards should be made rare and which more common. I said, among other things, that all staples should be common. However, somebody said that decks, if the owner wants it, should always have a more expensive option (within reason of course) and for this reason staples should be secrets, and that reprints would defeat the purpose. So then I thought what if there were multiple versions of staples, the most simple version of which was common, the others more rare. It would be incredibly hard for people to tell which one is better, and this would give people more choice in their decks and if they wan to make their decks rare, they can, and perhaps at least think they are getting an upgrade. It is hard however to make a card that serves the same purpose as a card, and is basically the same power as this card, but being a different card. Here are some of my ideas.

(Should I make the healing a cost to not benefit reverse-burn?)

Secret Rare Quick-Play Spell
This card's name is treated as "Monster Reborn." Special Summon one Monster from your Graveyard to your side of the field. Then increase your opponent's Life Points by its DEF.

Secret Rare Normal Spell
This card's name is treated as "Dark Hole." Increase your opponent's Life Points by the number of Face-Up monsters he controls x800: Banish all monsters on the field.

Ones for Mystical Space Typhoon and Heavy Storm are coming soon. Also, probably Solemn Judgment, Pot of Duality, and Mirror Force I will do assuming I don't get bored with the idea :)

Also I need help balancing these and making them follow the following rules:
-They do not benefit one meta-deck (or even anything that could possibly become in meta) more than another.
-They are basically no better or worse than their original form in nearly all decks. (We do have some wiggle room, and I am sure some people will argue they are better if they were actually released, but the general idea is NOT to replace the original staple, just provide a viable alternative.)
-They should be a more complex form than the original, hopefully (maybe possibly) requiring more skill to play. Rare cards should generally be harder to use imo (although this is not true in current meta...)
-Note: when I say more complex I do not mean more text on the card. I mean a more complex concept, such as using Monster Reborn in opponent's turn etc... (yea I did not do a real good job on Devouring Hole in this catagory.)

Comments/ideas/requests/etc...

Also, just so I do not get hate on this, if its name is treated as Monster Reborn/Dark Hole, it is treated as that card in the deck, thus you can only play 1 total (not one of each) in a single deck if the card is limited etc... (see ruling for Harpie Lady #1).

I actually love the concept. Its fresh and opens up for alternative plays, though it does indeed become a bit too powerful when put in a life burn deck considering you can easily deal above 2000 with either of the cards at no cost.

I would suggest that the Devouring Hole reduces the damage your opponent takes that turn in addition to another small benefit (drawing 1 card f.ex).
When it comes to Quick-Reborn i would rather suggest that it heals based on the level of the revived monster (so that life burn decks can't just revive a low level monster with high stats and a negative effect just for burning).

Actually, the simplest way of getting around this is simply making it a cost... or am I missing something...
