I would change the effect so that you declare a card type before you draw.

Yea... or this. Personally I still don't like you being able to decide for both players tho. Make it either so you decide for yourself and your opponent decides for himself, or your opponent decides for you and you decide for him IMO.

well it's not like both players lose their whole hand anymore, so I guess that's something

draw power is good, and it's situational so you may not lose as many cards, or even none at all

it should be balanced out

Yea the thing is I can just see this getting played in monster mash and the player always declaring spells. It seems sad.

EDIT: oops. Did not see the edit. you may want to change the opening post.

And yea, now it is balanced. Mind if I use this in my set but with a few tweaks?

Draw 3 cards. Yeah that isn't broken at all.

Please, the discard effect is not enough to make up for it. It can provide lopsided +/- situations and would be very, very bad for the game. People could abuse this in multiple decks. It helps you either combo off with monsters or set up a bigger backrow collection.

I feel that the card is OP'd and would be bad for the game. Would be banned if released in the TCG.

I don't know why a lot of people on here comment about balance issues on here. Majority of the people who make cards here aren't even using in a ccg.

Why do people even make cards if they don't use them? For the fun of it obv.

Isn't drawing 3 cards a little for free. . .idk too strong? yeah there is a small chance that all 3 cards can be one type, then your opponent could declare that type and you lose everything, but the chances of that happening is so slim. the drawback chance that you can lose something doesn't justify the 3 card gain.

Opponent draws 3 cards too. If you take it at face value it is a -1 because both players draw 3 cards. It is the discarding effect COMBINED with the draws that makes it good :)
