Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Tribute 1 each of a Level 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 monster; Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard). This card's Special Summon cannot be negated. When this card is Summoned: Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring the Summoning Conditions. When this card leaves the field: You can Banish 1 each of a Level 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to the activation of this card's effects.

What's 'execration?' This card has incredibly hard and specific summoning requirements. Have you tested it to see if that is possible to do in a duel? I assume the Level-5 would be first, and then you could bring out all the others for this summon. I'm guessing a bunch of Special Summons with cards that do Level-4 and lower monsters? That would work, but it would be really ironic if your opponent saw this coming and set up amore powerful monster to take this one down the instant yuou summoned it. That's pretty much it's only weakness, but that's why it's 'balanced,' right?

Google. It exists for a reason.

Even if this got printed, it will be nothing more than the typical "casual deck idea". But I made it more usable than Sophia by making it also SS-able from the Graveyard.

Valid ideas for summoning this:
Level 5: Cydra, etc.
Level 4: Armageddon Knight, just because it can drop this guy or a Plaguespreader Zombie
Level 3: T.G. Warwolf, Spell Striker, etc.
Level 2: Aforementioned Plaguespreader Zombie, etc.
Level 1: Tokens, Unknown Synchron, Glow-Up Bulb, etc.

It's not an easy word, and very close to a different and unfortunate word (although not many kids will know it, thankfully). If a word in a card makes me reach for a dictionary I often prefer to use a simpler word just to make it easier for others to understand. My personal suggestion would be to rename it 'Eldricht's Hateful Curse.' That is, of course, only my opinion.

This can't really be compared to Sophia since neither its summoning nor its effect has much to do with it.
The only thing in common they have is the fact they're both really hard to summon.

Also, for the last effect, cards and effects can't be activated in response to which of this card's effectS?
If it's all its effs, then maybe put effectS in the end?

And this is pretty much an instant win condition, more than Sophia.

But then again, all cards that have a similar effect to this are banned- Cyber Stein/ Temple of the Kings/etc
And for a reason.
I don't think an alternative to SS-ing Quasar is a good idea.

but if we're talking strictly fun/casual play, I actually like this a lot.

(maybe put a level restriction to the SS'ed Extra Deck monster)

Oh, believe me I know how using 'X' automatically makes things cooler. I also know that using big words does not make you look smarter: they just confuse the people you're trying to convince you're smart. But then, if you'd prefer to obfuscate rather than being clear that's completely up to you.

I'm guessing you searched for that word.

Anyway, I don't think that it'll be hard to SS since there are probably cards out there that enable SS of lower Level monsters and play Gravity Bind or something like that until you get the Level 5 out. I agree with Gandorator about putting a limit on the level of the Extra Deck monster
I really like this card... so I'll give it an 9/10

If a deck can't get rid of Gravity Bind in under 3 turns, it's either got a bad hand or sucks. -.-

Well, I was sorta being fun with Quasar, but yeah, on second thought that's a bit too much. And Armityle too.

Thanks guys, changing it to Level 8 or lower.

I did look for the word, but I was close... sort of. I had 'offiscate,' or something like that. I knew that was wrong, so I looked for the word that I knew I meant to use. I don't use 'obfuscate' often, because usually my objective is to make things clear. Often if someone is using a three syllable or longer word they'll get someone else confused.
