ragnarok1945
mind listing an example of how harmful this is supposed to be to your opponent?
thekazu4u
Erm... it was not really supposed to be good or anything just a filler common that is a bit interesting. But for example: they attack it with Stardust, you activate its effect. Stardust is not technically being "destroyed" so they cannot negate its effect, and instead get this little dumb card on their field instead of stardust. Only problem is, it is coming back to you if you atk it, but that can be fixed with a simple smashing etc... Also, you can summon it out and ram it into sangan (if for some reason it is face up atk position) and essentially kill it with out them getting to ever search. IDK, it is not really tournament worthy but maybe a side deck against something weird and for sure a good concept.
jd_griffin521
This would have to be an Xyz monster to be able to become an Xyz monster by effect. A better effect would be "Summon this card to your opponent's side of the field in attack mode (so that you can attack and do battle damage) and equip it with the monster that destroyed it." Also, it's not when, it's if. The card needs to specify the graveyard, and it needs to be optional so as to not make you miss the timing of something else. Example: If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard: You can Special Summon this card to you opponents side of the field in attack mode and equip it with the monster that destroyed it. This way you still accomplish your goal but stay within the boundaries of the rules. If you wanted to make it that much better, I would go so far as to say "When this card attacks or is attacked, you take no battle damage." It makes the part about it being summoned in attack mode useless, but this way you can suicide into a stardust and suffer no consequences. Example: You take no battle damage from battles involving this card. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard: You can Special Summon this card to you opponents side of the field and equip it with the monster that destroyed it. A monster equiped to this card is treated as an Equip card. When this card is destroyed while equipped, destroy all cards equipped to it. AND if you wanted to take it a step further, to make it even MORE badass, add this: You take no battle damage from battles involving this card. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard: You can Special Summon this card to you opponents side of the field and equip it with the monster that destroyed it. A monster equiped to this card is treated as an Equip card. When this card is destroyed while equipped: destroy all magic and trap cards on the field. This makes your sucker a life points blocker, -1 to their field, and a heavy storm when you decide to kill it. Side notes: It can still be used for synchro/xyz/tribute. That makes it vulnerable but IMO it should be. You should kill it. It's an infection. Also, being level 1 it can be one-for-one'd, which would get this guy some grief eventually. If you do anything to beef it up further, make it level 2 so it can't be. Also, it can be even more broken, but I'd say have it remove itself from play after using its effect or whatever. ALA: You take no battle damage from battles involving this card. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard: You can Special Summon this card to you opponents side of the field and equip it with the monster that destroyed it. A monster equiped to this card is treated as an Equip card. When this card leaves the field while equipped: destroy all cards your opponent controls and remove this card from play. There. That's my 2 cents. thekazu4u
In theory you can make a card be treated as a Xyz Monster with Xyz Materials without it being a Xyz Monster. And I do not want it to be an equip because otherwise cards like sangan would still get their effect(s) which is sort of what I was trying to prevent.
