leonardo21101996
Some time ago, even before know this site, I created in my mind a monster card called "Corpse Eater". The card was unbalanced even after a lot of balance, until it got to a point that it gone from "unbalanced" to "confusing", but after some time I had some ideas for balancing and at the same time for other "Eater" monsters. That way the Gluttony cards were born. Now that you know the idea origin, I'll finally post the cards that a have made far now. If you have some suggestion on making them smaller while using the OCG and, preferentially, keeping all effects in one way or another, please tell me. leonardo21101996
Just to start. WTF is "timeout"?
Timeout was the term that I created to define when a Eater card reach to the "final end turn" and is removed from play/banished:
In the third End Phase after this card is summoned, banish this card (this is considered a "timeout").
This would significantly reduce the text needed in some cards, as I can, for example, say of the "In a Soul Eater timeout" instead of "When a Soul Eater is banished after 3 end phases", like in the example below:
If this card is banished, except by timeout, return all monsters affected by this card to theirs owners decks and shuffle.
Maybe the "consider this a timeout" part made you think that it's actually a real yu-gi-oh! term. If that is the case, consider this part as "this is called timeout". Also if you think that the text should be altered according, please tell it. leonardo21101996
After almost one year after the last update I decided to continue this. Remade some things like "Gluttony" being an archetype and not a sub-type (that was a very dumb idea) and some fixes to make the cards lores easier to understand. Also added some new cards. >timeout>wat. Well... Timeout was the term that I created to define when a Eater card reach to the "final end turn" and is removed from play/banished: In the third End Phase after this card is summoned, banish this card (this is considered called a "timeout"). The quote already says everything: Timeout is just a made-up term to save typing and the time of the reader and at the same time it lets the lores easier to read.
