[/quote] It's not just about that. Mind Master didn't have a huge impact on the metagame either. But it was a badly designed card, OR the environment made it badly designed, so it got the banhammer. Same case as this card. It's not broken, hell, it's a -1 that prevents damage for both players, but the environment makes it a terrible design. Define "terrible design". Imagine that One Day didn't have the "no damage" effect, and that there was a Spell card named "Momentary Truce", which states that netither player takes damage untill the opponent's next End Phase, then which one of the 2 is "terribly designed"? [/quote] If Momentary Truce was "Both players take no damage until the next Standby Phase" Then it would be a better design, but a worthless card. One Day of Peace is bad design because it promotes F/OTKs. Like Mind Master. But if it didn't have the draw part, then it would not be such a card like it is now.
