John A. Zoidberg
> Says no religion> 2 posts later, religious discussion The hell is wrong with you people? Religion is relevant on the topic of homosexuality, given the controversy. We're not breaking any rules, so you really have no reason to ask us to stop, other than if it's bothering you personally. And if that's the case making us stop is just an abuse of power.

And if that's the case making us stop is just an abuse of power.I SAID to stop because I knew it would lead to flames. And it has. There are other causes of gay oppression. Discuss those causes. And if I'm abusing power, go report me. I'm fine with it. EDIT: Also you guys seem to think the topic is duscussing Hardcore Christians with Passive Christians, with no talk of gay oppression. Tell me that's on topic.

Those who have flamed weren't even relevant in discussion beforehand, and were polite as can be when saying "I don't believe the same thing as you." Oh, and name one. Greiga
*is not asleep yet* Religion and Homosexuality go hand in hand in a conversation. You may as well lock the thread or change the topic because otherwise everyone will end up repeating themselves.

You may as well lock the thread or change the topic because otherwise everyone will end up repeating themselves. But there's no good reason to do that. It is a thread with a legitimate point and religion can be a legitimate part of that point.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
I am not a part of the conversation. If you can't think of a reason outside religion, you may as well leave. All the religious discussion has done is pull the thread off topic.
John A. Zoidberg
I am not a part of the conversation. If you can't think of a reason outside religion, you may as well leave. All the religious discussion has done is pull the thread off topic. You see? Even you can't think of a legitimate reason, and you're telling us to, which is incredibly hypocritical. And yes, I know you're just going to dismiss it as "oh I'm not a part of the discussion," but unless you can come up with a reason to back up what you say, then you have no good reason to increase our warn or tell us what we can and can't discuss. The only other reason is ignorance, most of which is due to a person's religion and their willingness to agree with it without knowing what they're agreeing with (similar to agreeing with the terms of service without reading what those terms are, don't lie, you do it, too). Even so, that's not in any way enough to stimulate a true discussion.
