Anyway, I think I'm confused. Please do clarify. You activate this in response to damage and get x Counters, and then have to destroy it during the end phase of the turn it was activated, rather than being able to accumulate damage over several turns? Correct?

Card doesn't seem as good as you might think. *Assuming some people might think its good to begin with*.

It has a cool name as well. Bet the art is probably awesome.

Terrible. You first have to take Effect Damage of 1000 or more in one shot (making this completely worthless against Chain Burn, where the big damage are the last links in the chain), and then you still have to wait until the End Phase to burn them right back for double, yes, but it's too slow and conditional to be used. I'd rather use Rainbow Life or something to negate the damage entirely.

Hell, Barrel Behind the Door and Spell of Pain are much better.
