Spirit Traps

Edit: 2 more cards to add a bit more variety and to get a bit more feedback. Let me know what you guys think. Also having some issues with YugiCo's cards showing up here, so for now, I'm gonna stick with the xyz on the regular effect monster background. Also modified Spirit Bond so that it can keep the xyz monster from bouncing to the extra deck.

As always, thanks to the artists who made their work available to me. I'm not an artist. Just an idea I had for a set of spirit trap monsters. I'll post a couple and get some feedback, and if y'all like them, I'll make a set.

Effect: After activation, Special Summon this card; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Fiend/Spirit/DARK/Level 4/ATK 1800/DEF 1000). (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.) This face-up card returns to the owner's hand during the end phase. When this card is special summoned and treated as an Effect Monster, you can return one monster on the field to the owner's hand.

Effect: After activation, Special Summon this card; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Fairy/Spirit/LIGHT/Level 4/ATK 1400/DEF 2000). (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.) This face-up card returns to the owner's hand during the end phase. When this card is special summoned and treated as an Effect Monster, target one face-up spirit monster on the field. When it is face-up on the field, it doesn't have it's effect that returns it to the hand or extra deck activated.

Effect: 2 Level 4 Monsters
This face-up card returns to the owner's extra deck during the end phase. You can detach two xyz material from this card to advance the turn counter by one. When this card is returned to the extra deck, destroy one card on the field for each xyz material that was attached to it.

Effect: After activation, Special Summon this card; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Warrior/Spirit/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 1600/DEF 1600). (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.) This face-up card returns to the owner's hand during the end phase. When this card is special summoned and treated as an Effect Monster, target one card your opponent controls. Destroy that card.

Effect: After activation, Special Summon this card; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Fairy/Spirit/DARK/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 200). (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.) This face-up card returns to the owner's hand during the end phase. When this card is special summoned and treated as an Effect Monster, search your deck for one continuous trap card and banish it. When this card leaves the field, add it to your hand.

nice, another special spirit, though one that you need Spiritual Energy Settling Machine even more

the turn counter isn't really too huge a gain, Pyro Clock of Destiny can already do that. Card destruction is better, but overall it's meh

fortunately Spirit Bond will help out with that, but then again that would negate the card destruction effect

Spirit Bond's effect refers to return a card to the hand, NOT returning a card to the Extra Deck. If the effect had referred to the Extra Deck/leaving the field instead, it would work.

These are level 4s anyway, they'll be Tribute/Synchro fodder quick. The idea is nice though.
