Me taking a slightly new angle for my FIRE Geminis. This is perhaps the start of a new sub-archetype.

Thoughts?

Effect: When a FIRE Gemini Monster you control would be destroyed by a card effect: You can destroy this card in your hand instead. This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:
* Neither player can Special Summon face-up monsters from their Extra Deck. When your opponent declares the Special Summon of a monster from their Extra Deck: You can reveal a number of monsters in both players' Extra Decks equal to the number of Gemini Monsters you control (monsters you reveal from your Extra Deck must list a Gemini Monster as a Material Monster(s)), until the End Phase.

not destroy this card in your hand, you mean DISCARD this card in your hand

Destruction in the hand is a rarely-used, but canon effect.

it has a very good anti-synchro and anti-xyz effect

Personally I don't get the last sentence of when your opponent declares a summon from the extra deck. You already said neither player can special summon from the extra deck

This prevents Summoning *face-up* monsters from the Extra Deck, not all Summoning. This chains to cause maximum disruption.

CCV, DDV and EEV all destroy in the hand, so yes, destruction in the hand IS valid.

About the card, here's the second effect from my point of view: Monsters in the Extra Deck that are revealed can't be Summoned, while the rest can.

Since it's reveal effect only lasts until the End Phase, it's more Anti-OTK than anything else (Electrum Loop, most likely), making it rather situational. 2500 ATK means it's on par with most Extra Deck staples, but it falls prey to some hard hitters like Gaia Knight.

7/10.

It's more a case of if you know exactly what your opponent is going to Summon, then you can reveal that monster(s) and stop them; whereas if you have a vague idea, you can still force them to choose a monster they weren't planning on Summoning. And I can see what you mean, but if run with the other FIRE Geminis, it would most likely be under the effect of an ATK-booster, so should have enough strength to cope with most things.

Thanks for rating.
